"My sister and I stayed here this weekend and what a beautiful spot. So convenient to the CBD but also right in the thick of it on Ponsonby Rd with loads of cafes and shops around. We were concerned about being on main road and traffic noise but slept like babies! The allows are amazing. Wonderful place, great trip and will definately book to stay here again. Thanks"

"If you are looking for a place to sleep and shower then this is the place for you. The only thing I wish there was a seat somewhere. It’s not that comfortable to sit on beds with a coffee and biscuit, and watch TV, for longer periods. Great stay otherwise."

"Lovely cabin right on the water, spacious and airy. Well furnished and nice nautical touches. Bed very comfortable, kitchen well enough equipped for meal prep. We enjoyed watching the ever changing light, tides, birdlife in this peaceful waterside spot."

"Advertised as having garden entry . Power Multi boxes are an absolute fire hazard . Empty shampoo / body wash bottles on floor of shower . Bed was like a ply sheet ... very uncomfortable. No signage so I basically walked right around the dwelling trying to find entry to unit . I left two days before and stayed elsewhere on the north shore . Only communication with owner was to say I’d parked in the wrong place .. there was no indication where to park !! I cannot recommend this accomodation...

"A small unit but had everything I needed. The booking process was far more onerous than I’ve encountered before. The location was excellent for my course that I was attending, and there is an excellent deli at the end of the street."

"You will be part of a household with kids and hardly any privacy. This is acknowledged by the owners and he too is happy for me to get a refund, but expedia is nit rwacting to thus request."

"Wow, that was my initial reaction seeing my room for the first time. This was my first time experiencing an eco-friendly room, it was different but cuts down on energy waste. The room is spacious and had all my needs. Parking can fill up quickly, but I always had a parking space. The restaurant downstairs Ora Bistro did not disappoint. I was impressed with the menu and the food was great! I would definitely stay here again if I go back to New Zealand. "

"Have stayed here before which is how we landed here again! LOVE the shower pressure, the comfy beds and the washer and drier combo. Went home with clean dry clothes. Best thing was the wahine who checked me in. She was awesome. Warm approachable and kind."
