Great location in St. Maarten, and watching the planes take/off land right off the beach was a once in a lifetime experience!! All-inclusive: plentiful drinks, good quality food and lots of variety/choices for everyone in the family. The hotel staff went out of their way to be accommodating and were a lot of fun! In particular, Jessenia at the front desk and Sheryl at the Palms Grill Bar delivered exceptional service! With only a few upgrades (new liner on the pool & A/C in meeting areas), this would be a five star for us. We will definitely be returning!
One bedroom unit was cramped. Shower soaked the floor of bathroom.
Penthouse unit was Beautiful. Three bedrooms, three baths with on suite bathrooms. Four balconies. Beach was inconvenient. Long walk or had to drive. Used it only once. Pool was nice but food selections poor. No other convenient restuarant.
Maid service was excellent.
Very relaxing vacation. Easy access to restaurants, entertainment and other exciting activities. From front desk , individual concierge to housekeeping, all were excellent. In addition, security! All amenities were great. Nice gym but it cost $ 6.00, but still worthwhile.
Nice, clean and simple hotel. If you want a place to stay, have a bed and bathroom, it is a good price and in a safe neighbourhood where you can walk during the day and enjoy the neigbourhood of Mahoo beach.
I booked this place for a one night stay. The place was kind of wasted on me, though as it is set up more for people on vacation, and not itinerants. The room was very nice, and equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, and all the stuff needed to set up light housekeeping for a week or so. The pool was nice, beach clean, and the restaurant on the property served good food, great coffee, and a better than passable piña colada. I was going to head out to a restaurant on Welfare Road, but arrived after dark and was unsure of how to find my way around, so stayed on site and ate at the local restaurant.

Everything a couple would want or need is either available at the resort, or within short walking distance. The location on the island also makes it easy to get to either Marigot or Philipsburg within a 10 minute taxi ride. This was truly a great experience...

I have stayed at this hotel before. I still rather stay here than on top of the hill at the Flamingo Resort or the Pelican
(now called Simpson Bay Resort/ Marina) because you can walk to so many places. You really do not need at car. I laugh when I see people walking up the long hill dragging groceries as well. All I have to do is walk around the corner and there is a full service grocery store. The hotel itself has a very nice pool, and is on Kimsha Beach which is very well kept. There is a very good restaurant called the Greenhouse right on the property along with the Buccaneer Bar if you want to be in a more locals - hangout kind of place. Some of the rooms are not renovated as yet. I had a problem with my room when I first arrived. I asked the staff if they would change it and they did! I cannot say enough of the reservation, front desk and housekeeping staff. All very accommodating and friendly. I read some of the reviews of this hotel and wonder what on earth they are expecting. All I can say is if you come to St. Maarten, check your attitude at your departing airport, come have a great time on this wonderful island and book your stay at the Atrium Resort! Smile and engage the locals, they warm up to you real fast.

Simpson Bay is the boundary water dividing the French and Dutch parts of St. Maarten. Nearby Cupecoy Beach is a small, clothing-optional beach in the southwest corner of the island. It is lined with beautiful rock formation and caves.
