The apartment is well appointed and provides what you need for a few days in San Sebastián, from beach towels to rain umbrellas (yes, both are definitely called for!). "We stayed here for a week to explore the Basque country. It is a great place witg most sights a reasonable drive away. The apartment was superb and tastefully furnished. We found the whole place a great place to stay and the comfort of the apartment was great. The location is central and plenty to do within walking distance. "We enjoyed our stay immensely! The apartment was extremely clean, modern, and well equipped. We felt very much at home and could easily relax and unwind. Sophie and Denis were so welcoming and helpful with numerous ideas of places to go. The sole problem was that a week was simply not enough time to do all that we wanted in this beautiful region. "Beautiful apartment in center of San Sebastián. Everything is around this building, from supermarkets to shopping streets to restaurants and boutiques, parking garages and promenades along the bay s d along the river. It’s a perfect location. Great building with elevator and secure entrance. Excellent balcony and great view from the living room. My only wish was that window in the bedroom could open for fresh air: it’s kind of dusty and unpleasant, looking at the back wall behind this window "

"We stayed here because of the 4/ 5 star rating reviews , for us it did not stand up to portrayed as that. The veranda is very nice , but the bedrooms and bathroom has no natural light. Sophie and Denis are very nice hosts , and will help you in any way they can . The village of ASCAIN is very good for numerous walks , and you have a good choice of bars and restaurants , which is 5mins by car , and the coast is not too far away. The goats and chicken are lovely"

"Check in and parking are a bit convoluted. You have to go to an office in town (with no parking to be found) to pick up the key. Then you have to drive around to (and find in a busy city) the entrance to the underground parking - which by the way is 26 euro PER DAY. After you negotiate all of that you have to walk about 3-4 minutes to actually get to the apartment. There is a wheel chair lift for bags to get to the 1st floor where there is an elevator to get you to the apartment. With all that...
