Great hotel - comfortable beds!
I was driving around Tuscany and this was one of the hotels I stayed in. Great little place. Very friendly receptionists. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in a hotel. The breakfast was pretty decent too for the price.

Comfortable hotel with lovely spa
General, room ——————— We stayed here during the off season but the hotel was still quite busy with Italian couples in town for a spa weekend. The rooms are basic but very nice. Ours was a large ‘triple’, with a double bed and a single for our child, with very high ceilings and a balcony. The pics attached are of the views of the surrounding countryside. Eating ———- Our only experience of the hotel food was for breakfast which was standard Italian fare - largely very sweet with cakes, biscuits, jams, chocolate spread etc but great coffee. For dinner in winter the hotel restaurant is closed so you must dine out. That’s not a problem though as it’s close to multiple restaurants; we ate at a really nice pizza restaurant across the street. Spa facilities —————— The hotel has a well appointed spa on the lower level but sadly it’s not terribly family friendly as children are only allowed to access it from 9am-10am or 3pm-4pm so we didn’t really take advantage of it. However, a 5min drive from the hotel is the wonderful thermal spa complex that Chianciano Terme is famous for. It has multiple indoor and outdoor pools with water spouts of varying temperatures. Remember to bring a towel or a robe or you’ll have to buy or hire one!

Was nice to have the option to use the pool. Cost is 10 euros. Can take a bit of time, if pool is busy, to try the different water jets.

Close to Montepulciano
We had to change rooms because there was no hot water pressure in the first one. The lady at the front desk was very nice, helpful and spoke perfect English. The second room was fine. The cleaning ladies work very fast and our room was made while we were having breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. The food in the morning was plenty, great variety, fresh, tasty. The entire hotel is a bit old and in a need of renovation. However, the people that work there are amazing and made our stay a pleasant experience.

Wonderful location. Friendly staff. Panoramic views. Pool with water massages. Not far from old town. Breakfast was plentyful, but dinner was great!

My visit to Tuscany
I wasn't spending much time at the hotel, because I was mostly taking pictures in the area.. Anyway I feel that I should warn you about some stuff that annoyed me in this hotel: Electric outlets in rooms are very unavailable and hidden, behind furniture. Furniture was a little bit old. Included breakfast was kinda cheap. Apart from that, everything was great.

Fair price for good service
The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent, with a nice Italian-style buffet for breakfast. The pool was very nice, spa packages are a bit pricey. Our room was not as nice as the rest of the hotel, the walls are pretty thin. The bed was extremely firm, and the shower needed an upgrade. Great location if you're looking to explore Tuscany; it was located near a lot of small restaurants and stores, and it was about 10 min from Montepulciano.

Good value for money and nice pool area
We stayed here two nights, attracted by the low cost and the promise of a nice pool. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and overall quality of the room we were given: the decor and furniture were dated, especially the bathroom, but functional and clean. The pool area was really nice, but take note that the hotel requires the use of the their sandals and robes (extra 10 Euros per person, per stay) to use the pool. It's a serious spa, but we did not get into any of those options because we basically used it as a base for Tuscan touring.

Nice spa hotel
Second time staying in 3 years.Love this little spa town with no tourists.Best kept secret in Tuscany.Close to all major towns and highway.Hotel is clean,well run.Great staff and free breakfast.Free parking.Quaint old town to visit nearby.

Pool position on Umbria Tuscany vacation
Nice hotel and good location. Exellent starting point to visit southern Tuscany and Umbria. Cacciano Terme offer a lot of leasure also. Hotel has a pool but i didn't used it. Hotel has free parking and frendly personal. And i learned what " terme" mean in Italy. A plenty of hotels and in Cacciano no natural mineral thermal water (exept those in bottles). I recomend this hotel.

non mi è piaciuto il trattamento in piscina, essere controllati e sgridati per fare silenzio e l'essere poi cacciati via per il tempo scaduto, nonostante sapevamo che si trattava solo di un ora, mi è sembrato poco cordiale. Per quanto riguarda la camera, letto troppo basso, odore di fogna dal bagno e camera troppo calda nonostante fosse tutto spento (siamo andati a fine ottobre)

Hotel gradevole
Camere grandi ma che hanno bisogno di una ristrutturazione sia nel mobilio che nella struttura. Colazione a buffet servita dal personale che ho apprezzato perche si limitano gli sprechi di cibo ed è piu igienica. Nel complesso sufficiente perche le torte erano secche. La invece ottima e abbondante con personale di sala simpatico e professionale. Una nota negativa è stata la sorpresa di dover pagare le bottiglie di acqua nel frigorifero in stanza in quanto non era presente nessun prezziario e non ci è stato notificato il costo al ceckin tenendo presente che nel frigo erano presenti solo le bottiglie di acqua abbiamo pensato fossero gratuite come ci è successo di trovare in altre strutture. Non mi dispiace dover pagare un servizio ma vorrei essere consapevole dei costi prima in modo da poter decidere. Struttura inoltre molto comoda per raggiungere a piedi le piscine comunali di chianciano che sono molto ben tenute, non abbiamo usufruito della spa interna.

O hôtel é bom, quarto confortável e bem espaçoso, so a ducha q formava uma pequena piscina mas executava o serviço, com uma vista maravilhosa o quarto tinha terraço só para nós. Atendimento foi rápido e são atenciosos e sorridentes. Café da manhã é bom más não podemos tocar em nada, você pede o que quer e a pessoa atrás da proteção te entrega (ainda estão no momento Covid). Pagamos 10€ cada e utilizamos a piscina relaxante por 1 hora. Jantamos no restaurante do hotel (opção à la carte) e gostamos bastante. Com certeza indicaremos.

Péssimo! Primeiro de tudo: foi uma propaganda enganosa! É um hotel velho, bem ruim! A piscina não é aberta para os hospedes, é um serviço a parte que deve ser pago. O café da manhã é um buffet, que você não pode se servir, tem um funcionario para te servir, as opções são poucas e de baixa qualidade. Hotel antigo e ruim, muito distante das fotos e detalhes apresentados no site do hoteis.com.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Personale cordialissimo: dalla reception alla sala, dal piano alla spa. La vasca di acqua è molto semplice, con pochi getti. Cena e colazione molto buone, abbondanti e varia. Nel complesso molto soddisfatti.

Preciso che nella zona credo che comunque sia rimane una delle migliori scelte, ma che comunque ahimè il tempo passa e alcune cose andrebbero riviste. Arredo stanze. Bagno con pennellature a rivestimento che si distaccano. Forse è solo la mia camera ma comunque andrebbe fatta attenzione. Ristorante molto buono. Servizi spa su prenotazione oppure non avrete accesso. Peccato ero andato li per una notte proprio per quello ma all arrivo mi hanno comunicato che era tutto occupato. Sono andato nella palestra ma che in realtà credo non venisse usata da diverso tempo. Impolverata.

Piacevole soggiorno
Abbiamo alloggiato per tre giorni all’Hotel Villa Ricci, la posizione è ottima, in quanto i borghi limitrofi si raggiungono facilmente. Le camere sono confortevoli e molto pulite, in più il personale è molto disponibile e professionale. È stato un vero piacere alloggiare presso questo hotel, se dovessimo tornare in quelle zone sarà sicuramente la nostra prima scelta!
