"It was an adventure finding Belmesnil at night without GPS signal. We checked in late after resolving a minor confusion with our reservation. Found out that we had the entire chateau to ourselves for the night. My wife was afraid of ghosts but if there were any at Belmesnil, they were of the most welcoming and considerate kind. "The staff members were very friendly and accommodating for my two cats and it wasn’t expensive to pay for them (24 euros for two cats). The hotel room was clean and minimalistic but had a high attention to detail. We were a bit worried about bed bugs from the news and social media so when we checked the bed we were comforted to see that the hotel took precautions for guests by triple layering the mattress with mattress covers. All in all a stress free stay"

"This is a really lovely little hotel right off of the interstate. I booked it because it had great reviews and they were not wrong. The room is large and very well appointed for a person with a disability and the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. We ate in the restaurant that night and the food was excellent. "
