“Nice place to stay.”

Stayed one night for business, my only objection was the very tight bathroom door.

“nice hotel bad parking”

Hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. I had a king starwood room which was nice and comfortable and the free in room internet was nice. The parking lot is small and seems to be always full, to get to it you have to walk down an alley to get behind the hotel which is inconvienent with a small child. There is underground parking but I could not get in with my suv. The pool area is very nice with two hot tubs as well as a kids pool, main pool and two water slides, the only complaint I have is that the pool was a little cold as my three year old daughter was shivering after only being in it for about five minutes but the slides and the hot tub was great and we had the whole place to ourselves for over an hour on a wednesday night. Overall the hotel was nice, probably not the best I've stayed at but by far not the worst either.

“Very nice”

We decided to have a staycation and stay in a hotel in our very own city. The Sheraton was where we stayed for our wedding night so we thought we'd try it in a standard, non-honeymoon suite this time. The best part of the room was the shower. The water pressure was amazing. I expected a bigger TV and the artwork on the walls could use some updating but other than that the room was nice. We stayed over a holiday Monday and unfortunately their famous restaurant, Carvers, was closed on the Monday evening without the staff letting us know. This was unfortunate as we decided to go Monday instead of Sunday (when it was open).

“Brandy”

The hotel has converted some larger rooms into two very small rooms. We had one of these rooms and although it was nice there was very little space. The bathroom was so small that you could wash your hands while using the facilities.

River front os beautiful and there are alot of great places to eat close by.

Family-friendly activities

Horse drawn carriage riders are offered just out front of the hotel and are a marvelous way to see the city of lights. Take the longer half an hour trip it is well worth it.

“good location, good value,would go back.”

We are from this city originally so had some idea of what to expect.The hotel is older,but room was updated and location great. We liked that there was a restaurant in hotel. Staff very friendly. so liked that a lot. Bed linens were good,pillows good.However, for whatever reason both of us had sore backs after sleeping each night. I guess we need firmer mattrous. We are both over fifty so sleep is a big deal for us. Over all I would stay again.

There are other good areas I'm sure. I like being downtown.

“I was very impressed; I will definitely stay at the Sheraton again.”

I found the staff to be very professional and friendly. The hotel is extremely well maintained and clean from the lobby through to the guest rooms. The windows express restaurant was top notch, the food was excellent and the staff were first rate. The only draw back, all though a minor one, was the parking and access to the parking area.

Area recommendations

The downtown area is a great great area to stay. The park and walking trails along the river are ideal and you are just a short walk from shopping.

“Other than the bedding...”

The hotel is perfectly fine but if you don't like smothering bed-linens and ludicrously soft pillows that envelop your head when you lie down, be warned! In addition, on two separate occasions my sleep (such as it was) was disturbed by drunken young men reeling through the hallway outside my room. I realize that this isn't management's fault - but I'm surprised that the beer-stained louts chose so toney (and pricey) a place for their revels.

“Nice hotel, nice area”

Although I paid a much higher price than normal for this class of hotel, the experience was good. The area would be nice to walk around in if it weren't -10. Very convenient to local businesses.
