"I mean it's the OMNI! Everything was perfect here. The staff, the hotel, the room and view, the stay, the connecting bridge to the Petco Park. The valet was an easy drive up process and the bellhop/porter was extremely kind and helpful, emptied out our luggage from the vehicle. The check in process was simple and quick. The staff was so friendly to my dog and even provided him with a treat. Every time we came down, every staff member gave him compliments. The water bottles were free and provided at anytime of being requested. We stayed two nights and both nights the housekeeping was very pleasant and even though I had my dog, a medium size frenchie, the housekeeper was willing to come in and change our towels and make the bed. She was very kind. The hotel surrounding area felt safe and the noise wasn't an issue being on the 11th floor. The view was gorgeous! Walking the dog around the area and finding a dog walk area was simple, next to the Gaslamp Quarter sign and coffee as well. I didn't try the food at the hotel."

"This place was a mess. I asked for a bottom floor because I have a bad hip. The girl said there were none available and that it wasn't a big deal because there were only like 12 steps. Apparently, she has no idea how hard that is. Then the keys didn't work. 3 more trips up and down the stairs. Then they wanted us to wait around for maintenance, but I said no because I didn't want to have problems with my door the entire trip. After that, they moved us to another 2nd-floor room, more steps and more pain. The room was not very clean the towels were dirty. The fridge didn't work, and there was a gross towel in it. We could hear every sound the people next to us made. Our feet were black after walking on the carpet. Not worth what we paid to stay here."

"We loved our stay the Bahia. The location is great —5 minutes to SeaWorld and a 15 minute walk to Mission Beach and Belmont Park so we didn’t have to worry about finding a parking space on a busy weekend. Brunch at the Dockside was delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly. I appreciated the room upgrade without even asking. It was a pleasant surprise! They were also accommodating to my request for late checkout. I would definitely stay again! Thank you!"

"The major amenity is/was the ocean. Unfortunately, it was contaminated by sewage from Tijuana Mexico. With the inability to even wade, much less have skin touch the wet beach, this amenity's value was reduced substantially. NO MENTION OF THIS FROM THE HOTE (EITHER IN ADVANCE NOR AT THE CHECK IN), DESPITE THIS APPARENTLY BEING A FREQUENT PROBLEM. NO OFFER TO COMPENSATE FOR THE extraordinarily room rates, either. VISITORS: BEWARE!!!! PAYING NEARLY $1,000 PER ROOM PER NIGHT WITHOUT THE AVAILABILITY OF THE BEACH!!"
