“Little diamond in the rough”

Excellent little hotel, owners obviously take a lot of pride in there hotel. Can not fault anything other than I got the room right next to the gym. Still highly recommend the place though.

“Great shot-term stay”

I was travelling with my partner, on business. Between meetings we wanted to see a bit of San Francisco - we certainly did that! The hotel was quite good for the price. The room was always kept clean. The only downside is we were on the first level and had to wheel our luggage up stairs to get to our room. Other than that no real complaints - the woman at the front desk was helpful... I left my sunglasses on a shuttle from the hotel (which is included in service) and she called the shuttle immediately and found the sunglasses. The breakfast is ok - the american bacon everywhere is just amazing... but their eggs in this case are pre-cooked omelets with liquid cheese inside. If you're looking for a gourmet breakfast this isnt it, but will suffice a hungry traveller. Overall a pleasurable stay.

“Friendly, accommodating staff”

Room was comfortable and had a surprising number of amenities for the rate We were very impressed with the staff. They helped us with heavy luggage and couldnt have been friendlier or more accommodating of our needs.

“Great stay near airport”

Nice hotel, very near airport, also food facilities (pancake house, McDonalds) very nearby. Clean. I left too early to try breakfast, so no idea if that is good. Decent room, bed was pretty soft, bit too much for my liking.

“5 stars in my book”

would stay they again in a heart beat. room was very clean in my book & I'm a clean freak. free shuttle to SFO, only 1 mile away- which we need to get to airport to fly back to O'hare. Staff will schedule your ride, which was about 8 minutes late, which is why I allowed extra time, it stops at other hotel. Breakfast was the norm.

“No problems”

We stayed here because of an early flight out of San Francisco, otherwise, Millbrae would only be attractive for drivers who needed a motel. But the room and service were excellent, the motel quite attractive and as we were well back from the road, it was quiet. There was wi-fi in the rooms, which was convenient, a liquor store opposite, which was also convenient, and the airport shuttle was on time and got us to the airport without a hitch.

Area recommendations

While in San Francisco, get down to Chinatown and the waterfront. Take a 60 minute cruise around the harbour and under the Golden Gate Bridge. As for the area around the motel, nothing you'd want to see, just shops and other motels.
