"We were there for my husbands birthday. It is a quaint 1920's boat - that provides a unique experience. Please dont expect the frills that you might get at another hotel, and there are no mini fridges or microwaves. There is a coffee maker. The deluxe room and bathroom is large and comfortable. The staff are wonderful and accommodating and try to see to your needs. The food at the restauraunt on site is very good and the outdoor seating, watching seals and boats is pleasurable. "Absolutely stunning place..quiet and eloquent. The room and bathroom were exceptional and so spacious. We took a room with a balcony to be able to enjoy the river view. Dinner was easy just next door, expensive but convenient. Love, Love , love the place. Will look to return when the construction on the river bedside is done. Did not affect our view since we were on the third floor, which I believe they try to place guests to accommodate the temporary work. Great, great place overall! ...

"I have a house being renovated, my daughter is living thru it, and there is no shower at the house. So staying here where it was so clean, took herself a long shower, and stretched out on the floor…..then slept like a log! Next time I come to Sacramento, if I need a hotel I am staying here."
