“Back Packer level accommodation in a hotel advertised as 5 Star”

Very unimpressed with this hotel. The room was a pokey little cupboard, so small it even had a miniature ironing board (quite amusing really kneeling down to iron your shirt !!). There were no windows in the room and no air conditioning, it was completely airless and stifling hot. The walls and floors (2 storey) are paper thin and every conversation, footstep and creaky floorboard can be heard throughout the night. We complained and were put in a slightly larger cupboard on the first (upper) floor, still no windows or A/C, completely airless and stifling hot. The accommodation needs to be graded room by room for this hotel, what we stayed in was NOT 5 star, I have stayed in more comfortable back packers hostels.

“Misled and disappointed !!”

Photos of the hotel in the website is pretty but we didn't get to stay there. We were allocated to an apartment block 2 buildings away from the main hotel. No balcony contrary to the website description. We found ants in the bathroom, carpet is very old and smelly, the apartment probably hasn't be renovated for 30 years as it''s 70s style. The only positive thing is the apartment is warm and kind of cosy after you get used to the old carpet smell.
