“HOTEL FROM HELL”

I TRAVEL A LOT FOR MY COMPANY AND STAY MEDIUM PRICED HOTEL AND USUALLY THEY ARE FINE. HOWEVER THE RADISSON SAS LYON WAS THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I CAN REMEMBER. 1. ROOM PLASTER FALLING OFF THE CEILING - SHOWER DID NOT WORK - REPORTED THAT 5 TIMES AND IT WAS NEVER FIXED SO I HAD TO SQUEEZE INTO THE SMALL TUB TO GET A WASH. CARPETS DIRTY. BED WAS OK - DECOR FROM THE MID 1970s, AS WAS THE REST OF THE HOTEL. WAS SURPRISED NOT TO SEE JASON KING LURKING IN THE BAR. ONLY POSITIVE WAS THE BAR MANAGER - KIND GENT IN HIS 50s WHO DID HIS BEST AND WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH THE WINE SELECTION. 2. SERVICE - FORGET ABOUT IT - ROOM SERVICE NUMBER WAS NEVER ANSWERED - ON THE SATURDAY I HAD A LATE CHECK OUR (AROUND 3PM) AND NEEDED SOME FOOD PRIOR TO LEAVING THE HOTEL. BISTRO ON THE 1ST FLOOR CLOSED - MAIN EATERY ON THE 32ND FLOOR WAS CLOSED ALL DAY - ROOM SERVICE DID NOT ANSWER - ENDED UP CALLING FOR A PIZZA DELIVERY. FAWLTY TOWERS WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER OPTION. SORRY RADISSON BUT YOU NEED TO GET THIS PLACE SORTED OUT.

“Very very old hotel”

i found hair in the bath. very small room, the worsest room condition i have ever seen.

“Not impressed”

The hotel staff was moderately helpful when we could find one that could speak English. The bed, though we requested a king was a queen, and hard as a rock, not firm just hard. Breakfast buffet was an extra 29 euros which so wasn't worth it. The location was in the middle of the business area. Not so good. I personally would not stay here again.

“Radisson Lyon Part-Dieu”

Nous fêtions notre anniversaire de mariage ce week-end du 15 Aout. La réception du Radisson nous a proposé gracieusement un sur-classement, une chambre au dernier etage du 39 avec vue sur le vieux Lyon. Un superbe cadeau car la vue est absolument magnifique! Pour les "deltas", malheureusement le restaurant gastronomique était fermé ce week-end là, nous avons dû nous contenter d'une carte brasserie tout en profitant de la salle panoramique. L'hôtel a besoin d'être rafraîchi par rapport à d'autres Radisson visités; plus récents, mais il reste d'un bon niveau. Au final, Très bons souvenirs de notre séjour. Nous sommes enchantés par la formule proposée par Voyages SNCF, bon rapport qualité prix quand on compare par rapport aux autres hôtels proposés.

Area recommendations
Le vieux Lyon est un ravissement, surtout au mois d'Aout. Lyon est comme Paris, débarassé de ses habitants pendant le mois d'Aout, on y prend le temps de vivre. Flâner, visiter toutes ces traboules, discuter avec les artistes sur le marché, apprécier la cuisine lyonnaise, rester assis au bord de la Saône ou du Rhône le soir au clair de lune, on en redemande.

“avis mitigé !!!”

pour un hotel 4* , j'ai trouvé le service et l'état de cet hotel dans un état assez laborieux donc je suis plutôt déçu d'y avoir séjourné ! un hotel ibis n'aurait pas été moins bien , voir sans doute même mieux ! il n'y a que la vue du 34 ième étage qui offre une très belle vue sur LYON !!!!

“Tres bien pour voyage d'affaire proche de la gare et des services”

Satisfait de mon choix, cette observation s'adresse plus a l’hôtelier ( emplacement exceptionnel vue exceptionnelle, mais changer les peintures ( le rose saumon dans un bâtiment moderne, c'est "moche à vomir" "vous détruisez l’intérêt architecturale de votre bâtiment.

“Hôtel Radisson Lyon”

Cet hôtel ne mérite pas du tout ces 4 étoiles mais vaut a peine 2 étoiles. Le service est déplorable et les chambres sont mal entretenues et sales. Hôtel a éviter.

“Absolument désastreux pour un Radisson Blue SAS”

Un hôtel qui a beaucoup de vécu, attention matelas catastrophique, on y sens les ressorts! Le personnel n'y fait rien! Si vous y aller ne prenez pas de service d'étage 24/24.
