“Wonderful hotel on accessible quiet street in heart of old town”
We stayed at this wonderful hotel in December. The staff was friendly and responsive. The free capuccino machine in the lounge was awesome!
“would definitely return”
I booked a superior room and was very happy with it. It was a nice size with comfortable furnishings. There was a wide view over a church and courtyard but it was still very private. The breakfast room was pleasant with a view of the street and the breakfast wasgenerous with scrambled eggs, various breads, muffins, fruit salad, yogurt, coffee and juice on offer. There's a lovely sitting room with a gas fireplace and a computer/library for guests to use. The location was perfect as you could easily walk to all of the historic sights inside the walls. Rue St. Jean with some excellent shopping and restaurants/cafes/ethnic eateries is just a few blocks away. I have very few criticisms except that the lighting over the bed could have been brighter and late at night there was a thumping sound of a muffled bass which went on for several hours. The desk staff was generally helpful although some of them could have been more friendly. One of the reception staff, a female with short hair and glasses was outstanding. A good example for other employees.
“French European charm. A room with character..”
The hotel is conveniently located in the Old City. We had a unit tastefully decorated with antique furniture, beautiful drapes, along with kitchen and modern bathroom. It was beautiful. The coffee was strong and excellent. Breakfast was included. The hotel is reasonably priced. The only problem was the Christmas party across the street which the cops broke up at 1:30 am. The noise was unbearable, and we had a flight at 6 am. We do recommend this place if you want to feel that you are in France with the comfort and space of America.
“Cant wait to go back Best location”
My wife and i stayed 2 nights and it was perfect. Great location, great soundproof clean room, great staff, an above average hotel breakfast, and a great price. We will be back again.
“Loved this cozy hotel”
Very nice and quiet. Great location. Loved the breakfasts & the Expresso machine. Room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Everything was perfect.
“Lovely people, good location, nice breakfasts”
We went ot Quebec City in November and it was beautiful but cold. The hotel was great, situated close to everything with very nice helpful staff and a warm spacious room. Certainly ours was and we paid a little extra for it we'll go back.
“Excellent hotel & great location in Quebec”
Great service & close to the Chateau.
“Brilliant location”
The hotel is in an excellent location, in the Old Town, with shops, restaurants nas sights all close by. The staff are very helpful, and the rooms are smallish but mre than adequate. Very modern decore, and the shower was excellent.
“Very convenient, clean, friendly and comfortable.”
Had the pleasure of staying here for two days. Excellent hotel and very good value for money. Great continental breakfast included in the rate. Fabulous bi-lingual staff who were very keen to please.
“Centrally located”
We loved the individuality of this tastefully decorated hotel. It was central to the attractions of the old city in a quiet location. Coffee machine in the lobby was great! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The best reason to stay there was the affordable price for the lovely accommodations.
