"The room was very clean and comfortable. However, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator and also an air conditioner since it can get very warm and the ceiling fan alone does not cool the room down. The staff and owners are super friendly and very attentive. We left very early in the morning and the lady working in the kitchen (I believe her name was Gira) offered to prepare us some sandwiches, which super nice of her. "Travelling around CR for nearly a month we wanted to book somewhere near the party town of Puerto Viejo to bring in the New Year. So, we paid way over the odds to get this place for 5 nights. Our initial impressions were terrible - smelly and uncared for. However, the owner was quick to swap out our broken fridge and fix the hot water, and so we decided to stay and make the most of it.
