"Cute, cozy cabin in a quiet, small town near the lake and some beautiful hiking trails. A lot of things to do around town and the nearby area, especially during ski-season or warmer months for outdoorsy fun on the lake. Even if weather isn't cooperating, there's a good amount to do in the cabin or going to some local places to eat. Would highly recommend to anyone for a weekend trip or a longer vacation escape!"

"We stayed at Whitney Cottage for about three months in the winter. The cottage is wonderful, and we loved it the moment we arrived. Everything was clean and orderly, and it was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Mark Peterson, our host, is as delightful as the cottage. The beach is about 5 minutes down the road and the swimming areas are hilariously small. House was well maintained, but I don't love the memory foam mattresses - but that's more a reflection on me than anything."
