"Clean, practical, with most things you need, an iron and hairdryer too. I would have liked to have had plant based milk cartons in my room instead of dairy though, so l could have enjoyed a cuppa in my room. Shower head is fixed to the wall too, making it difficult to shower properly. But otherwise all was good. Staff are very friendly but not enough of them on reception. Cafe is nice, again, vegan options not as obvious as I'd have liked. I spent ages trying to work that all out. Generally a nice stay though. "

"The property was gorgeous! The room was large and the bathroom updated. Staff were really helpful and the food was very good. It IS very remote so if you are going as a destination to really use the amenities-golf course, pool, spa, etc., it was great. We had hoped to use it as a base to travel out from but the roads were so narrow and rather treacherous getting in, we didn’t feel like driving back and forth to other locations in Devon and Cornwall, which was too bad. The location is great as you can easily walk to town for shopping & restaurants or go in the other direction to the sea. The breakfast was fab as you can order a hot breakfast or enjoy plenty of continental choices, which suited my son too. 10/10 - Deffo worth the stay! "
