“Not reall impressed”

We stayed at this hotel to attend a funeral in nearby Mt. Lebanon. The location was convenient to the Funeral home but that's about it. When we arrived the owner had his car parked in the middle of the carport (where guests usually park to check in and unload luggage) so we had to park in a parking place and carry everything from the middle of the lot without a luggage cart. ( I did finally see one the next morning but it wasn't there when we checked in.) The lobby had the odor of curry and the rooms smelled like they were damp and musty.The very worst part was the lighting (or lack of) in the room.Couldn't see anything and makeup application was out of the question. On the positive side the television was a flat screen with a good picture and internet access was free. Continental breakfast was adaquate but nothing out of the ordinary. . Would have liked to have found a vending machine since we returned to the hotel later in the evening.

“Not Impressed”

Room was dingy,no vent in the bathroom,smoke orders,burn hole in the bedspread. Breakfast was fair, preperation for breakfast could have been better. trash can was not emptied for several days. Over all this has to be one of the worse stays at a Day's Inn we have ever had.

“VERY NICE HOTEL ....DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN !!!”

THIS HOTEL IS VERY NICE . NEWLY REMODELED ROOMS , UPDATED / NEW AMMENITIES FOR THE ROOMS AND THIS HOTEL HAS THE SOFTEST BATH LINENS EVER FOR A HOTEL !!!! EMPLOYEES ARE FRIENDLY , COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL . VERY NICELY LOCATED . DEFINITELY LIKE TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL .

“Not Impressed by the Neighbors”

I guess I am not being fair to the hotel management for giving such a low rating but only a person in my position can appreciate the experience I had while I stayed there. The room was in very good condition, I also did not have any complaints about the service I received at the front desk. You see, the problems began when I realized that the two rooms on both sides of mine turned out to be occupied by these college kids who were unlikely to be of legal drinking age and as such were eager to taste as much beer and booze as they possibly could in a high 20s type of weather and see who can scream the loudest. Unfortunately for them I had my fair share of college years experiences (none of which in a motel room) and I surely did not share their euphoria but rather tried to fall asleep and relax for a few hours which was the reason I booked a room in a city that was only 3 hrs away from my house.

When I entered the room and it was stuffy and had musty smell to it. The room and property was very clean.

“overpriced”

it was pricey compairing the condition of the hotel as a whole. i would compair it to a motel room... good for a one night sleep.

“Was what to expect for the price!”

The hotel was convient to everything we wanted to do while in Pittsburgh. We had no trouble checking in even though we arrived before check-in time, which was nice. Upon entering the room, there was a musty smell that took over everything else. If it wasn't for this smell I would not have a bad thing to say about our stay there. That being said for the price paid, it was a fine room for one night...

“OK Inn”

Hotel location is not good, near a high traffic road. But the people there were nice and the room was clean. Breakfast is OK

“Good If your just staying to shop!”

If your in town to shop and you need a inexpensive place to sleep, then this is it. It's close to the highway, and places to eat. The hotel itself is not fancy by any means, but if your planning to just sleep and shower- then this is all you need.
