“Good location (near train station)”

Nice hotel and great location (just across the road from the train station). We used the hotel as a base for exploring Pisa (which didn't take long) and then other parts of Tuscany (esp Florence, Lucca and Terinnia (sp?)) via train. When travelling by train make sure you validate your ticket (yellow machines on the platforms).

“Nice hotel spoiled by extremely poor customer service”

Hotel is clean and reasonably comfortable, location opposite the railway station is very convenient. However the experience of staying is spoiled by a staff which display a 'couldn't care less' attitude. Two examples will suffice; closing the restaurant in the middle of a meal with no explanation, leaving guests standing at an empty reception for almost 15 minutes before anyone appearing to help. Would definitely not recommend this hotel.
