"Me, my husband, adult children and their partners (total of 8 adults) stayed at this house in September for one week. We had a fantastic experience. The house was clean and well appointed with plenty of space for all of us. We enjoyed cooking at the house most nights due to the size of our group. The kitchen was well equipped and there is a charcoal BBQ available.We enjoyed dining al fresco on the patio. The pool and patio was a highlight for us.Pierre was our contact person and was extremely helpful and pleasant. We had some travel glitches and he was very accommodating. Per Pierre’s recommendation, we hired Chef Dalit to cook a special meal at the house. It was a wonderful night and she created a delicious meal and atmosphere. The island is beautiful and there many places to hike and beaches to enjoy. I would recommend staying at this property. Most attractions are an hour or less drive. Airport is approx 30 minute drive.Hints; hire a rental car to get around. Pingo doce is the local grocery storeEnjoy the pool!Black whale resertaunt"

"It was mostly great having the volcanic pools on site. Property was heavily carpeted even though a lot of moisture and not too clean in the shared areas. Very busy with guests and not enough staff on the grounds especially during breakfast / mealtimes / trying to book spa appointments."

"Jose's place was very clean, comfortable, quiet and ideally located for us. The view from the top terrace is of the beautiful beach and mountains. The kitchen was stocked with many appliances and dishes. If you don't feel like cooking, several restaurants are within walking distance. You can walk to the beach as well. This a well-kept home in a charming area and we highly recommend it for your stay on the Azores."
