"Well it was just as described - basically a comfortable guest house in the middle of the rain forest - perfect. The surrounding areas are beautiful and perfect for hiking or touring around by car as I did. Hospitality is great and there was even a good internet connection at the house which allowed me to catch up with friends and family during my stay. Fantastic!"

"This is an older property, but it is well maintained. The staff is very accommodating and courteous. The hotel is very clean, all areas of it. The rooms are large, roomy, and clean, especially the bathrooms. One of the most important comments we can make about this property is that it is very close, and we mean close, to all major museums and attractions, walking distance. "The castle is gorgeous but the rooms definitely reflect the age of the property. I stayed at the Suite da Torre (Tower suite) and it's one of the most interesting rooms I've ever stayed in with breathtaking views. The bathroom though has a constant sewage smell.
