“Great Petoskey Hotel”

Very Nice Petoskey Hotel. The Food bar was an unexpected plus as well as delicious. Very nice place to stay and centrally located.

“Have stayed at better!”

Will probably never stay here again...It was ok but little things count. Checked in Friday night/ Departed Sunday morning. *The room had a smell to it when we first arrived (was probably a prior smoking room) but got use to it. Drab & out dated... *At night, the a/c kicked on & off every 30 minutes (quite annoying when trying to sleep) finally figured that it has to be on auto. *Could never get connected to "free" WIFI even using different passwords. *Cafe was ok (only had breakfast there). *Was disappointed that there was no pool/hot tub (my fault for not checking more closely). *TV is too big for the room, was damaged, & had less than excellent reception. *Worst part was our room was not cleaned on Saturday by the time we returned late at night. Come to find out my friends didn't get soap, shampoo/conditioner, & lotion (not that it is a really big deal)... BUT they also found kleenex in their beds!!! *The staff is somewhat friendly but when we checked out & told them our room had not been cleaned "oh did you have the DND on?"

Convenient, clean, and would not hesitate to use again in the future. The hotel "Cafe" was very good and a special value added feature.

“Not Impressed”

We stayed one night, the hotel was packed with contractors that would stay up and drink and party til 2-3 AM. Called to complain to the front desk and they were very rude. I beleive they felt they were making more money off them than they were from me. So they let them do what they wanted. Hotel is very dated. No pool, very UNFRIENDLY staff.

My husband and I went to Petoskey for a much needed get away. Since we were hoping to do a bit of shopping we needed to stay at a place that wasn't expensive. The Days Inn rates were great. The room was very clean and comfy. The best part was the young lady, Erica, that checked us in. She was extremely helpful and patient in letting us know where all the interesting shops and eateries were. She even gave us maps marked with directions! Super job Erica! The complementary breakfast was amazing. Yes, there were the usual Not so good for you foods, donuts, sausage, etc. but there were so many items to choose from you could make the right choices as well. Everything from fruits, cottage cheese, breads, make your own waffles, soups, sandwiches, and cereals to biscuits and gravy, sausages, hot pockets, pizzas and yes, donuts! Over all we were very impressed and will stay there again every chance we get! Mark and Deborah

This was the second time we stayed here and I had forgotten all the conveniences. It was great to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Also the "cafe". Even though the food is prepackaged and salty- it was convenient when the need arose.

Tried out the unpublished rates and got this hotel, ended up being very nice for the price. They not only have breakfast but actually have food available all if you are interested, including snacks, soups, frozen food etc. First time I've seen that at a hotel.
