"Have heard nlt so good things about this hotel in the past but this is the first time I have stayed. It has new owners and well I must say they are turning it around. The price was very competitive and this included breakfast which was very good. The room was a little dated but was very clean, the bathroom is brand new and very clean and modern. The staff were very friendly. We didnt eat apart from breakfast so cant comment on the resteraunt other than the breakfast. We would stay again, also...

"Lovely comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast was great and the staff were all really friendly, informative and welcoming. Feel it is a little overpriced but Pitlochry itself is pretty pricey. It is a steep walk back up the hill from Pitlochry if you have walking difficulties. We would probably stay again though. "

"Very easy to get to on the outskirts of the city. The room was a good size with an extremely comfortable bed and lots of little extras - snacks and water - as well as tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast was amazing - all freshly cooked and absoluteky delicious. "

"The property is a bit old but clean and economical. Free breakfast is a plus. The things I did not like were: the shared toilet located across the room even though I booked an ensuite one - called and messaged the owner but no response; only 1 hanger available for our jackets, and the motion-activated light in the toilet automatically shuts off so I was having a shower in the dark lol"

"Very central for the city , very warm from David at the town house . Beautiful room well equipped and spacious. Some high end touches with quality tea & coffee. Breakfast is also of a high quality local specialty ingredients. Definitely a 10/10 overnight stay . Would also recommend Perth it’s a. Beautiful friendly city "

"Located on the second floor of the restaurant, the room was spacious, but furniture and carpet show signs of ware. Bed was a double with adequate level bedding. The sink and shower were slow to drain, but water pressure was great. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. The value for what I got was decent because it included breakfast in the morning. "

"Glenkilrie house is in a superb location and if you catch it on a clear night the stargazing is amazing. The accommodation is cosy and there is a communal lounge with a TV for all to enjoy, there is also a visitors book in this room which has collected comments from people all across the globe! Morag is a lovely host and cooks a great breakfast! The breakfast is generous and broad enough to cater to everyones preferences. He is so thoughtful and intentional with the way he sets up the rooms, with any needs you might have during your stay there. "Beautiful, quiet location. This is not overcrowded, there is plenty of space and the facilities are clean. The site is well thought out. The pods are below a small hill/cragg, with lots of wildlife. Deers can be seen along the ridge line during the evening. Plenty of walks nearby and further a field. Highly recommend."
