"We love to travel as a family and our stay at this current Tru hotel wasn't the worst hotel we've stayed in.
2 bad things:
-Our room never ended up getting cleaned for our 6 days here. (I'm not sure if it's because we asked for 5 more minutes one of the mornings because we were gathering stuff for the beach). Either way, oh well. We put our trash and dirty towels in the hallway. And they were taken during the day.
-The kids downstairs below our room, and then the next 2 nights above us... whew! They were SO, SO loud- it never stopped. Even at 3am, it was noisy. Slamming doors, loud laughter & noises..we get it. We have kids.. but it was TOUGH to get a good night's rest. (It wasn't even on a weekend during the loudest nights)
However the 3 good things: :)
-The breakfast lady was AMAZING! She was so friendly and quick with gathering refills on empty items. She was fun to chat with too!! Definitely the nicest employee we came across.
-The coffee was good, even late at night when we came to grab our "night cap." Our kids even enjoyed the hot chocolate option!
-We also loved the foosball tables, and the nice little pool. Perfect area for after the beach.
A great stay for less money than in Pcola Beach! Thanks Tru hotels!"
