"3 of us stayed in the 3 single bed family room on a room only basis the room was extremely clean with en suite shower room. The beds were very comfortable tea and coffee was supplied and when we needed more milk they bought us more. The room also had doors out to a little patio area overlooking a pool with fish and a lawn beyond."

"Wow what a little gem of a hotel with restaurant. Room was amazing, modern, classic and Mediterranean feel in heart of a Kent village. If you get room 8 or 9 you won’t be disappointed. Restaurant food was top notch if a little pricy and the included breakfast was also lovely in quality and flavour. Would pick over a chain hotel any day especially as location has few choices for accommodation."

"I had a great stay here at this 3 bedroom house, all 3 bedrooms are rented out, i was in a single room, which was perfectly clean, and adequate for my 3 night stay! Its a shared bathroom, and there is a downstairs toilet! I am a professional cleaner, so for me it could have been cleaner, but it was definately clean enough!!! I would stay again, in fact im hoping to rent all 3 rooms next year!!!"

"Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience."

"We had a wonderful stay in the Pavillion at Brunger House. The location is fantastic for Tenterden and other nearby spots (eg Chapel Down) and the cottage itself is superbly kitted out to a very high standard. Add to that the excellent hosts and oh so thoughtful little touches, and I’ve no hesitation in thoroughly recommending it to anyone looking for a fantastic self catering away break."

Unfortunately when we arrived were told breakfast was not included - that seemed strange I booked the room on the pretence it served breakfast - being a "Guest House". "DO NOT BOOK. We turned up, having paid via Expedia, only to be told they don't actually have rooms to book. I don't know if this is a scam as the email confirmation said that there was no Front Desk so ring in advance to confirm booking... Lord alone knows who would be picking you up and taking you someplace else. "Booked this place and first impression was its a building site I was then asked for £100 cash damage deposit i dont carry that amount with me and not many people do I offered to put it on my card and was told they dont have a card machine Come on no card machine...joke The manager then said he would hold on to my driving licence..erm no thanks thats my ID and im not leaving it with anyone It was agreed that i wouldnt stay so i left and contacted Hotels.com to refund my payment Nothing...

"VMG Living ( previously Rhinos 5)- Beware! The hotels.com pictures give the impression of three bedrooms with pictures of three double rooms. However there are only two. The pictures do not reflect the cleanliness and the decor of the place AT ALL The booking fee does not show a £75 cleaning charge ( this is hidden in the small print).
