“Odd Place”

Lots of strange folks hanging out in the lobby both at check-in and at breakfast. Felt like we were outsiders intruding on a cliqueish B & B.

“Very pleased with my stay”

The hotel was clean; the employees were helpful and friendly. I would definitely use this hotel again.

Area recommendations
Starved Rock State Park. It has large sandstone hills, deep gulches, large wooded areas, and river frontage.

“Great Hotel”

This was a fantastic hotel for a decent price. The hot breakfast was pretty good, but the eggs were kind of mushy. They had everything from hot cinammon rolls and biscuits and gravy to yogurt and rolls. The room was great - the bedding was soft and there was a surplus of pillows. Plenty of towels and plenty of room. I would say the only two complaints I have is 1) out of all the awesome stuff there was no fridge in the hotel room and 2) the hot tub was excrutiatingly hot. My boyfriend managed to sit down for a couple of minutes and by the time he stood up, he was bright red from his chest down. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel and will definitely stay here if we need to stay in Ottawa again.

“Très satisfait de cet hôtel”

Très bon accueil, avec de cookies... Tout était impeccable, le petit déjeuner bien approvisionné, tables propres et personnel attentionné. Des restos proches, dont un pub à visiter rien que pour l'ambiance.
