Sheraton Miyako Osaka was extremely clean. Train station was a block away. Not many hotel dining options, but plenty of dining in the area.

We enjoyed staying here. The room we booked was quite big (31sqm.) which gave us good space for packing before going back. Nice view and many restaurants nearby.

VERY EXCELLENT STAFF AND GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. BUS FROM AIRPORT IS 45 MINUTES TO STATION AND HOTEL IS AT STATION. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT INCLUDING THE ROOM WITH A NOON CHECK OUT AND THEY EVEN CHECK ME IN AT 1.30

The room we stayed first night was small and the sink wasn’t drain well this room was booked by our tour trips. Second night we booked the bigger room ourselves both rooms had a same problem with heating and air conditioning. My rooms were hot when we checked in, we called front desk to help us to adjusted our room temperature, they told us to open the windows to get fresh air. They told us the hotel was old so they heated the whole building with set temperature, only air conditioning can adjusted low, medium, high. We asked can we turn on the air conditioning but we been told don’t do that because the heat will come out not air??? We had to open the windows for both days. We never experienced anything like this with big chains likes Marriott, they should let people know their property conditions up front before customers book the room. Any one allergy sensitive be cautious to book your room here.

While the property on initial inspection is GORGEOUS, the staff took over 30 minutes to check me in. Apparently usage of their pool and gym is an extra cost on top of whatever you pay for your room. When I finally got to my room, it reeked of cigarettes. I got them to change my room. Once I finally got another room, it itself was ok. It is definitely not worth what I paid.

Thank you for the great hospitality! Room was clean and service was great! Received a complimentary cookies as a honeymoon gift from the hotel. We topped up for the international buffet breakfast and it was great! I personally like the Japanese station for the buffet breakfast. It is also convenient as there is an airport shuttle just outside the hotel which will bring you straight to Kansai international airport. Thank you Sheraton!

I enjoyed breakfast. Room was clean, but the bathroom was not cleaned properly; human hair and black dirts were floating when I put water in a bath tab. I had to quit to take a bath. Also, when I flushed toilet, water kept running all night.

The breakfast was good - plenty of selection. The room was clean but small and some fixtures are old and patched. The location is right above a train station which makes it convenient especially if you plan to use the kintetsu railway. Unfortunately the JRpass is not good here. The department stores in the train station provide a lot of dining options.

Not family friendly - the hotel do not let under 12's use the pool. This was our main reason for selecting the hotel so was a huge disappointment. The layout also means that you rarely see any staff.

The staff was amazing! We travelled with 2 adults and 1 child age 10 years. Site states family friendly with a pool. But kids age 12 and under not allowed to use the pool. Also, you need to pay around 2000 yen per person per day to use it. Would not have booked this knowing hotel would charge for use and no kids allowed.

Overall the staff was friendly and very helpful. I was travelling with a 5 year old, but I didn't know beforehand that the swimming pool is only allowed for over 12 years old. Also, there is a fee to use the gym and the pool. They don't inform you of this on their website, it is disappointing that they are not transparent about this information. The initial picture is very misleading, as its a picture of the swimming pool, I would not categorize this hotel as family friendly for that matter.

Was surprised the front desk personnel were not accommodating and their responses were like we do not do that or we don't know especially hearing in during checked-in after coming from a long trip. This continued with similar responses on the next 2 days and so we gave up to prevent being disappointed. However, the bellboy team was very helpful, and hopefully, they would follow in their footsteps.

I did not like the staff not speaking proper english, the room was too small for three people (2 adults and one child) and the proposal of three beds. Sheraton hotel needs renovation, it is too old by many aspects, it does not look like a 5-star hotel. The choice for international breakfast was limited. I liked the kindness of trainee staff welcoming clients at breakfast/dining area.

The daily room serving was nice. The fact the swimming pool was for 12 years and over was not good. Our kids were wanting to swim. Not many restaurants nearby. Useful being close to the subway.

The Sheraton is a modern style hotel, well placed in Osaka with easy access to transport. Very friendly staff, always willing to help. Could not fault the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas. Great shopping right alongside the hotel.
