“Absolutely great”

From beginning to end the Crowne Plaza Universal was a delightfull experience, the quickest check in and out we have ever experienced. The room was clean, spacious and incredibly comfortable, we would not hesitate to return to this hotel or recommend it to others.

“Excellent hotel!!”

-Great location - 5 min walk from i-drive. Approx 30 min drive from sandford airport. 5 min drive to universal. (taxi costs approx-8 dollars. Free shuttle available - would reccomend (basic but free) -Room - really nice and comfy beds. no fridge but ice available (unlimited) -Very clean hotel, lovely pool and gym area. -Staff were very helpful. -Would definitely stay again!!

“excellent hotel and service”

went to the crowne plaza for our honeymoon was really impressed when we arrived the hotel was in really good condition quite large but with a personal feel. Staff at reception was really helpful with tips on where to eat and were not to go for safety also. Pool was always clean and never overcrowded. Gift shop was very useful open quite late for snacks and drinks etc. We didn't recieve the king bedroom as booked but was given a 2 double bed room.

“Average Hotel Experience”

I upgraded my room to a Junior Suite (recommended for such a small additional fee) and the room was pretty good, except the air con is noisy and the rooms tend to be next to service elevators, which are also noisy from 7am onwards... Noise from adjacent rooms can also be a problem as the walls are VERY thin. Staff could have been more helpful, they seemed pretty uninterested in moving me to another room. The hotel decor is a LITTLE bit dated, but, they had started a refurbishment while we were there, so, should be all new when finished.

“Does not live up to its brand. Not a 3.5 star hotel.”

Good location, comfortable rooms, free parking For Wifi - addition charge USD12.95 per day. US free channel very limited, extra payment for more channels Hotel reps push hard on clients to buy tickets, don't let them entice you. One lift not working, frequent stops at many levels at peak time. Sink partially blocked, not fixed for our entire stay. Hotel looks dated. Consistent with three star hotel.
