“Quality all round experience”
Very impressed with the service and the hotel rooms. Fantastic location in a fantastic city.
“Definitely recommended for the average visitor”
The hotel is comfortable in a simple, unostentatious style and has everything needed for a relaxing visit. The reception area is light and spacious. The lifts are a sensible size and work well. The staff are welcoming and obliging. The breakfast is a full buffet selection. The room was small but was able to include two comfortable chairs, TV, complimentary tea/coffee etc. The site is only a few minutes walk from all central venues but surprisingly quiet. Yes, I would definitely stay here again.
“Lovely hotel bad location”
The Rutland Square hotel is a lovely old style hotel. The staff were very pleasant and friendly and very efficient. The rooms were not huge but suitable enough size wise for 1 person. The morning breakfast was also very nice and again the staff were friendly. The biggest problem with this hotel is its location next to a busy bar. While this would not be a problem earlier in the week I was staying on a Saturday night and was kept awake until about 3am by noisy people. Would stay there again just not at a weekend.

The hotel is in a good location to reach the city centre, easy walk to all shops, bar and restaurants, also car park just next to the hotel.

Nice quiet spot bang in the centre of Nottingham. Perfect for accessing all the bars/restaurants/clubs and ensuring a decent nights sleep afterwards.
“Comfy and traditional”
Comfy bed; bath; lots of TV channnels; handy for town centre.
“Comfortable friendly hotel in the city centre”
Comfortable and attractive hotel in the city centre, The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I thought the £8.50 for overnight parking was a bit steep. I will stay there again when I am next back in Nottingham.
“off the main road”
The Rutland is set back compared other Hotels and so you get less road noise from the town centre. The car park is outside the front door. Rooms can be a bit small !
“A little dissapointed...”
The staff were wonderful but the place is a little run down to be honest. It is clean for what the staff are doing but sticky carpets are hard to clean.
