“It's functional”

This hotel has obviously seen better days. In general it looks run down with furnishings in the room being chipped or outdated. However, effort has been made to update the reception area which is great and helps on arrival, but the same perhaps should be extended to the rooms. Our room was generally clean, but a cobweb was spotted above the curtains and the bin in the bathroom hadn't been emptied which I didn't particularly like. Otherwise the bathroom was clean and so was the rest of the room. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was a choice of pillows to choose from which was a nice feature. Air conditioning works though is a bit noisy to keep on during the night. We didn't choose the breakfast option because we didn't think it was worth the money, and with a Sainsbury's just across the car park and with tea/coffee facilities in the room we did a DIY breakfast which worked out fantastically! All in all the hotel serves its purpose which for us was an overnight stay in the city for a wedding. It's generally clean, quiet and we got a good night's rest!

“Good Location for a short break”

The Holiday Inn Nottingham is a typical example of a modern Holiday Inn. The hotel is clean, tidy and in good condition. I could not hear any noise from ajoining rooms. The car park had lots of spaces. I did not try the bar or restaurant but they looked fine. The hotel was easy to find. It's located across the road from a supermarket with a petrol station. It's about 5 minutes by taxi from the city centre (Market Square).
