The maid stuff remains indefinitely clueless on check out times and the staff seems to hate their jobs, but apart from that, it's the cheapest motel in a gorgoeus side of town. "I like the speedy check in. Room could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly. Specifically, few crumbs on floor/nightstand and toilet seat was sprayed but not wiped. I worked hotels before. However, pleased with price I paid and probably will stay here again on next visit."

"We were in town just one night for a show. Very convenient to the Fox theater (an easy half mile walk). Property was perfectly acceptable. This is a motel; it’s not a high-end hotel. Pleasant staff, clean, and a good location. Recommended at the price!"

"Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the non congested location. West side rooms have view of front range. City bus stop across the street (free for everyone) - one hour schedule cycle. Denny’s and Hacienda Real restaurants next door as well as Waffle House few steps further. McD is other side of interstate. Room was huge with comfy chair and nice bed. Plenty of outlets. Excellent cell signal for Verizon and ATT. Washer/dryer available. Facility has been around a while but had reasonable rates. "

"The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The Columbine has been remodeled into a very clean and neat motel. There was no breakfast served during the time we stayed there. This was a little disappointing. Even though the room doesn't have a mountain view, several minutes after leaving the driveway, there is one. We would stay here again."
