Patty and Colin were very friendly and hospitable and the cottage was in a great location for visiting all places in the Gower. Fantastic walks and beaches, all dog friendly. "Wildhaven is truly the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many! The views take your breath away and the cottage itself is large and beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable and the bedding excellent quality. The kitchen is well equipped and both bathrooms luxurious. "The listing was for a ‘gorgeous 2 bed cottage’ and it was certainly that! Such lovely original features but decorated so cleanly and modern. Lovely touches such as milk in the fridge and Welsh cakes left out for us! All the amenities we needed for a short weekend away to visit Zipworld. The original stone flooring did make the downstairs feel chilly for our January trip but the heating was more than sufficient to counteract this and a simple increase on the thermostat quickly made it more...

"A lovely little cottage that had everything you need. We stayed with our two young children. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it, but we have two areas that weren't perfect. Getting the boiler just right took a while. There wasnt enough hot water on our first night, so the kids ended up with a tepid bath and theln in trying to sort that out we set the boiler to come on early in the morning so we could have hot showers - the boiler is noisy and so woke us up very early. "It was difficult to get the exact address from the host, even when we were parked on the same street and looking for it. The area was nice and the property was nice overall, and the hamper was very nice and welcome. However, some surfaces were very dusty and under the bed and sofa were absolute filthy, which I found out when I dropped something and had to retrieve it and my arm emerged absolutely covered in dust and hair and general dirt."
