Located on the Atlantic Ocean, Springmaid Beach is less than three miles from both Whispering Pines Golf Course and Family Kingdom Amusement Park. Myrtle Beach Pavilion amusement park is 3.5 miles away. Six pools and two lazy rivers are spread throughout the resort. Two restaurants are on site. Access to the 1,060-foot Springmaid Pier is available to guests who have recreation wristbands. The Tackle Shop, which is located on the pier, sells bait, tackle, gifts, souvenirs, and groceries. Additional amenities at this Myrtle Beach resort include an arcade room, complementary mini-golf course, and fitness center. Garage parking is available. Springmaid Beach is a smoke-free property.

Marlin’s is always a great value (hours are seasonal). BARnacles on ther Pier: There is nothing better than dining on the Pier with incredible beach and ocean views. Enjoy a casual bar and grille atmosphere with affordable favorites like grilled catch of the day, nachos, salads, and much more. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and cocktails. BARnacles also features hand dipped ice cream treats.

Having just completed a major, multi-million dollar renovation, Springmaid Beach Resort continues to offer an incredible variety on onsite recreation and amenities for all ages. This beautiful, 27-acre oceanfront resort is situated on the quieter southern end of Myrtle Beach’s famous Ocean Boulevard; it’s ¼ mile of peaceful, white, sandy beach feels like a world away as it’s separated from the crowds by Springmaid’s very own fishing pier. Free to resort lodging guests, the Pier is one of Myrtle Beach’s longest, stretching 1068 feet out over the ocean with a 110 foot “T” at the end. Guests enjoy strolling on the Pier watching the fisherman pull in their catches, while some try their hand at it using rented rods, supplies, and bait from Springmaid’s onsite Tackle Shop. The resorts includes 6 pools (2 heated) and 2 lazy rivers feature kids areas and fountains/rain makers. A landscaped, 18-hole miniature golf course is located at the resort and free for all registered guests. Next to the mini-golf course is a game arcade equipped with the latest in video games, pool tables, air hockey, Wii, and more. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the newly renovated fitness room which includes new treadmills, elliptical, exercise cycle, and nautilus weight machines. The resort offers a summertime Family Activities program, which offers games, sports, pool, beach, and craft activities that delight all ages. Pet friendly amenities include a fenced dog walking area on property. Springmaid offers all guests complimentary resort-wide Wi-Fi.
