"Have heard nlt so good things about this hotel in the past but this is the first time I have stayed. It has new owners and well I must say they are turning it around. The price was very competitive and this included breakfast which was very good. The room was a little dated but was very clean, the bathroom is brand new and very clean and modern. The staff were very friendly. We didnt eat apart from breakfast so cant comment on the resteraunt other than the breakfast. We would stay again, also...

"Owner is very attentive. I arrived early and was welcome and showed to my room. It is very conveniently located to Stirling castle,downtown, shopping and dining. They have an excellent restaurant, unfortunately was closed during my stay. I was traveling by myself and I feel very safe during my stay. Breakfast had an excellent variety. I ordered the Scottish breakfast,was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this cute B&B. "

He is so thoughtful and intentional with the way he sets up the rooms, with any needs you might have during your stay there. "When we arrived there was no heating on and no hot water. The outside temperature was 6C and the cottage was colder than that. Eventually someone arrived to put on the heating and light the wood burning stove. Even with that there was no way the cottage would be warm for at least 12 hours. "We found our small double to be as advertised SMALL, but cozy. Jackie and her staff were accommodating and breakfast was delicious. The location was ideal for those who like to walk around an old walled city and there were many dining options nearby"

"Looking for somewhere to stay while attending the Drovers Tryst Walking Festival, this was in a good central location, easy to walk into the town centre, with a supermarket for supplies just round the corner. Excellent value for money. I was welcomed and impressed with the room facilities and the little extras such as bottles of water in the fridge and bathrobes.
