"rain water coming through the bathroom ceiling, the only view was onto a roof and very messy court yard, (but there is'nt much they can do as it is not there property) the room was in a good state of repair and clean, the bathroom was recently upgraded except the shower had to be held because there was no riser bar. the bed was very compfy and the refreshments left for us was very nice. we enjoyed the breakfast"

"This hotel is in a fantastic location, about 3 minute walk from Rialto Bridge! We stayed in a room with 4 single beds. The room was nice as well as a great bathroom. We did find the beds rather hard and the AC stopped working on our third night, so it was very warm in the room. Overall I would stay here again, but for a younger crowd that does not have chronic back pain."

"Very good location, and some of the more comfortable beds we slept on in Italy. Be prepared for stairs, though! We stayed on the top floor and climbed all 90 (we counted) stairs every time. Location is central to most everything in Venice and is surrounded by food and shopping. "

"The location of the hotel was perfect, only an 5-10 minute walk from the train station, and the staff was beyond accommodating and friendly. However, although the hotel Is clean, it is very tired and needs a facelift. The beds felt like prison issue, I don’t think we’ve ever slept on anything so hard and thin. The shower was small but it had amazing water pressure with hot water. I think it’s fine for one night but anything longer would be very uncomfortable. "

"This hotel is a must stay! It is located almost in the middle of everywhere, it's a 15 minute walk to Rialto and 500 meters from St. Marks. There is dining around every corner with gelato right downstairs. Speaking of downstairs, the restaurant outside the door is very good, especially if you're already tired from the day. A large supermarket and McDonalds nearby with around 8 minutes walk, very convenient when we wanted to cook dinner ourselves using the mini kitchen. Also near to Mestre train station with around 10 minutes walk, surrounded by many different hotels and you can feel that the road is safe "
