Pros: Location, Staff, swimming pool (small but spotlessly clean)
Cons: Shade near swimming pool More seats in grounds. Less outside lighting so you can see stars at night.
Location: Wonderful walks up Uluguru mountains organised through Chilunga Cultural Tourism . Also Mikumi National Park is outstanding.
We were having a break from some voluntary work so it was wonderful to have some luxuries, and the opportunity to explore.

Pros: The large room (so I had space to do yoga) and the friendly staff.
Location: Great hike to a waterfall up in the mountains.
Very nice hotel with good restaurant and excellent massage services. The pool was not open for several days of my stay and the gym was not yet finished. The hotel staff were great- very friendly and helpful.

Pros: very comfortable, although it was a bit pricey.
Cons: I would have prefered the staff to ask before spraying room with mosquito repellent. There were no mosquitos in my room, so no need to pollute the air
Location: The hiking is beautiful and interesting to see life on the mountains. The views are spectacular up there.
I had a good experience except for one mishap, when a security guard thought my room was vacant and opened the door at 1 AM to check. He apologized but it was very startling.

Best in Morogoro

This hotel is far above the other hotels in Morogoro, but this is Africa, so don't think it is a 5 star hotel. It is newer, the rooms are large and clean. Fit and finish is better than most African facilities, but below that in the western world. The air conditioning works beautifully. No worries for mosquitos. They keep them under control and spray daily. in the rooms. The room locks are an odd combination of key and electronic. The TV is good, flat screen, with a clear signal. There is a deadbolt style lock that can be opened from outside with a key. There is no security chain. The room is so big that the TV is a bit distant for its size. The internet is slow, but it gets the job done for basic communications. The property is located in a beautiful peaceful area of town. Good mountain views from many rooms. Their is a delightful pool. Kids love it.The restaurant is improving since the last time I was there. The only place to stay in Morogoro.
