Pros: My bed was soft. It also had cable tv, mic and frig.
Cons: Yeah, there really is no breakfast, its coffee and oj.
Location: It was a good location. Easy to get to beach and there are things around.
Over all it was ok for a place to just sleep. It had good beds and it was pretty clean.

Cons: The bathroom was tiny, and the sink was behind the hotel door, outside of the bathroom, which was a strange set up. The closet was tiny, very short.
Location: Good location.
Good experience, would recommend to others, and will stay again. Good rates.

Clean and Newer Building / Lack of Professionalism

Pros: Fairly newer structure compared to other motels around in the vicinity. Room was also larger.
Cons: The owner guy to attend some classes to learn more about operating a service business and customer servicing manner.
Location: I was there for my personal business, but good location, close to all areas for tourism.
The room I had booked was "One bed / Smoking". At the time of check-in, the front desk (seems like the owner) told me that they didn't have "One bed / Smoking" available anymore but there was "Two bed / Smoking", and it would cost me more even though my total charge was paid to Expedia. Being a single traveler, I never needed a 2 beds but I did want a smoking room since I wasn't able to smoke in the rooms for a few days. First he insisted $8.00 cash but I ended up paying him $6, in order to stay at a smoking permitted room as I had booked anyway. Oh~ before I was able to check-in, I had to wait no less than 15 minutes with no one else waiting while he was on the phone in his own language. Never bothered asking me to wait or nothing.

Rude staff

Pros: The room for the price.
Cons: Customer service and continental breakfast: clean coffee pot and maybe add fruit since all they offered was a pastry.
Location: Near Montery, less than a 10 min drive.
Went there with my family. Continental breakfast is a laugh but then again the price was very cheap so I guess we got our money's worth. Coffee pot was very dirty so I avoided their coffee. The guy at the reception desk was very rude. Need to work on their customer service skills. Other than that, the room was comfortable and clean.

Great value close to Monterey Ca

For the money great value close to all the spots in Monterey. Rooms were clean, staff friendly and helpful.The beds were firm. Free Wi-Fi. The only downside was that the breakfast was sparse with only coffee, orange juice and packaged pastries for breakfast. There is plenty of eateries close by. Overall I would stay there again

Check in was very inefficient. Staff are very careless with secure information (Copies of ID and license etc.) Rooms were very clean.

Good place for a few nights

Pretty decent hotel for the price. We weren't looking for something fancy and got what we needed here. If you are looking for the highest degree of service and amenities then this is not recommended for you. If you're looking for a pretty good nights rest and will be out and about most of the time then this is a great place to stay. It is near quite a few fast food places and a market is down the street if you're looking for quick spots to eat or buy drinks. The hotel is about 5 minutes drive from Monterey's Cannery Row and most major attractions in the area.

Ok hotel..

I was extremely disappointed that this hotel states they provide continental breakfast. I might be in the wrong here but the continental breakfast they provided was orange juice, coffee and a pastry which did not look appetizing. I thought we would save money on not having to go out to purchase breakfast because this hotel provides breakfast but we ended up having to go out. Our shower curtain had a little bit of mildew. Everything else seemed to be fairly clean. The neighborhood was not too bad. There are shops and restaurants nearby and the freeway entrance was close too. Customer service: I would have liked for the desk person to have told us what time "breakfast" was ready or things available in the hotel. We checked in and the desk person did not say much. He just said sign here and here is your key. We were not given a time for check out or a time for "breakfast". We were annoyed that no one was at the desk in the morning. We wanted to check out and there was nobody there at 8am. The door was locked, we rang the bell and still nothing. It was then that we noticed there's a slot for you to drop off your room key. Once again we were not told that was an option upon check in or else we would have left earlier.

Dirty and hard to find

It took us over an hour to find the place. Then we found an unknown pill on the floor. The ice bucket looked liked someone had waxed their eyebrows with it. The people were nice but I'd never go back.
