It is as quiet as it gets. The only sound one hears are the birds and the wind in the trees. We had never experienced anything like that and will be back for sure. It was the most relaxing vacation! "I was hoping for a few days of quiet in nature, and that is exactly what I got. I remembered what stars look like, fell asleep to the sound of a river, and read to my heart's content, warmed by a real fire. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and responsive. The cottage isn't too far from wine chateaux (about an hour) and a couple of ancient dolmens, not to mention the beautiful Vézelay Abbey (about 40 minutes), if you want to venture out."

"Ideal for two people, I was with my son (12) and we stayed 4 days at that lovely spot. Even with no AC in the summer, the place kept a certain coolness with the shades down. The kitchen is equipped to prepare some meals. We enjoy every evening a short walk to the Calvaire panorama, beautiful. We did the 14km Vélorail trail which is 1km from the studio, under tree shades. The city is very quiet and well situated to explore the Morvan. Enjoy."
