Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Hotel

Posted 27-Oct-2013
My partner and I recently stayed at The Hub and I must say the one word that comes to mind is 'perfect'. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our time and will hopefully be back very soon : )

Too Hot!

Posted 27-Sep-2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel itself is very nice the lobby bar very happening my #1 problem with this particular hotel is it's service. It started with the room temperature after our 1st night stay. The temperature in the room wouldn't go below 26 degrees Celsius, when we called the front desk that's when we realized that they control the temperature with their computer and they said they would take care of it. That evening when we got back to our room still the same and when I called the front desk they said maintenance had gone home for the day so I asked them how that helps us and she had no answer. She finally asked if we would like to change rooms because her computer was showing that they had one available that had the temperature at 23 C. Its now midnight were changing our room which did show the temp at 23 C and even if we wanted we couldn't change that. I think it's freaky that they are the ones in charge of the temperature in the rooms and if you want it colder well lets just say your out of luck. I didn't mention that my brother in laws room also same problem. As for the front desk staff there were 4 from what I could tell and only one was fairly nice the rest were not so friendly. the hotel is completely out of the way but they do have a shuttle that will take you to the metro just one word of advice don't take the metro in rush hour it's a little confining to say the least.

Fantastic Service, poor location

Posted 09-Sep-2013 on Hotels.com
Good Points: Wonderful service. Breakfast had a good choice. Even though it was a bad location they provided a free 24/7 shuttle service and we didn't have to wait longer than 5 mins for it. Bad Points: Shower leaked, not enough pillows, very thin walls so could hear people upstairs/downstairs/nextdoor/corridor.

Worst location worst service bad staff attitude

Posted 26-Aug-2013
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Too many thing where do you start with the management
Location: Nothing total dump
Free shuttle is a total waste of time with poor management upto 40 minute wait for pick up false promises "we're on the way" Bad staff attitude poor quality food in restaurant to make you sick. Over 120 rooms and only 3 irons Cleaners who can't clean the room properly if they even turn up we arrived to room with nespresso machine pods missing and no milk to make tea. Waited 25 minutes for milk to to make tea Asked for a heater due to cold evening so they turn on the A/C either lack of understanding of English or no consideration of customer. Poor management trying to do something different but making several mistakes I got told I'm not the only customer nice to hear from staff you may not have hot water in the evening in to whole hotel so you want to use hotel at particular times.

Good hotel in compare with the other 4 star hotel

Posted 03-Aug-2013
Pros: The view of my room was great
Location: Poor
It was good to stay at this hotel, it is alittle bit far but it is reachble by train. At the last stop you should call the hotel and one shuttle will pick you up for free to the hotel. There was one problem, because we were forigner we did not have any italian Sim Card to call the hotel for sending us a shuttle. I hope this hotel can solve this problem soon.

BEST HOTEL, Gross location

Posted 13-Jul-2013 on Hotels.com
We had to take a metro to the nearest station, then order the free shuttle to pick us up. it is in the middle of a terrible industrial Ghetto, but inside the gates, it was immaculate. If you don't mind the metro, BOOK THIS HOTEL.

The Hotel was nice and I enjoyed my experience in Italy. The shuttle bus was convenient as it came as soon as requested and the staff were friendly. The facilities at the Hotel such as the Jacuzzi, steam room and swimming pool was nice.

Milan over night

Posted 25-Jun-2013 on Hotels.com
Wanted to spend some time in Milan and looked for something near train station. This was NOT it!! Nearly an hour from station by disgruntled taxi driver, only to arrive too late to use pool or gym. Hotel is trying too hard to be modern in an industrial area lacking services of any kind. Hotel restaurant was good, but way too much money for a room that cost us a day.
