The Customs and Border Exhibition is the best of them all. The slavery section was a very interesting look at the places many of the slaves were taken from, but it did not explore the cultural and societal reasons behind slavery, or have any of the detail of living conditions, work or the road to emancipation as the ‘mission statement’ promises.
