“Great location”

It was a pleasant surprise and gladly recomend it, just don't expect a great breakfast buffet.

“Great for the weekend”

Nice, clean and good hotel. The room was comfy and really close from shopping. Will stay again

“Everything mostly okay, except that we were expecting a full breakfast to be served.”

We had chose this Hampton because we had previously stayed at another one in Rockport, Texas for the first time ever via Expedia. We were very impressed by the overall quality of service. We decided that many times it may well be worth paying a little extra for a hotel that has higher amenities, especially the breakfast. Now this Hampton at Mission, Texas continues to be very nice and elegant on the inside. But it was the breakfast that left us, well - dissappointed. The one at Rockport did have hot sausages, eggs, biscuits, gravy, and many other items. This one did not even have a microwave oven. Now there were only small sausages in there, they were not even hot. But with no oven to heat them, we had to swallow them cold. And let us assume that there were no sausages for breakfast, it surely would have been continental breakfast. We like to chose hotels with full breakfast and the website indicated that this one had it. Well, not quite. Another item that was missing in the rooms was that there were no refrigerators or microwave ovens. We thought all Hampton's had them. We however, talked to the general manager at the Hampton at Rockport, and she told us that the fridges and micros were only by choice of the proprietors, but that the breakfast should have been complete. Now if full breakfast nor micros or fridges are important to your hotel stay, this is a fine hotel. These were however, amenities we were looking for. There were not there.

Area recommendations
It is not really near the highway, but you can still see it. I just recommend that it be on the side of the highway.
