"The room was extremely hot when we arrived. It took a very long time to cool down. The breakfast bar was typical hotel food. It was very congested in that area and difficult to get what you needed."

"When we got there to check in, my kids were talking about the pool and excited to go swimming, got the room key went and changed, got down to the pool and it was closed and drained. Would've been nice for them to say something prior to check in, considering they heard my kids talking about swimming. They did refund my money, but with an attitude."

"This hotel was shockingly bad. The first room they put us in had trash on the floor, handprints on the mirrors, soap splatters on the wall and sink surface, no smoke alarm (just a hole in the wall where it was supposed to be), water damage under the sink, and extensive MOLD on the bathroom ceiling. The second room was WORSE, with brown streaky stains on the lampshades, dust and dirt on the floors, massive amounts of dirt and filth on both the inside AND outside of the tub, splattered mirrors and walls again, and what appeared to be blood stains on the bedding (right on top!). The rooms were also rundown in general with peeling and scuffed finishes, rust, stains, etc. We refused to stay there, but they said they could only do a *partial* refund since we'd already checked in. How could we know the rooms were like that without checking in?! Awful, awful. Would never stay here."

"This hotel is a dump, the rooms are old and dated. the lobby smells like chlorine, fabuloso and 1970. The shuttle is old and beat up. not sure who is giving this hotel an 8 but it was not enjoyable."

"Embassy Suites has been a chain staple for my family of 4 as they are available in most cities and provide the room setup we need with at a standard we’ve come to expect. We’re not expecting luxury as we do when we stay at higher end places, but there are expectations. This location was a dump. Hilton should be embarrassed to own this in their portfolio. We stayed for one night on the return trip of a chicago to gatlinburg family road trip and i wish we just drove through or booked elsewhere. The embassy suites we stayed at on the way through Louisville to gatlinburg was excellent and this one was laughably bad. The room reeked of mildew and sewage so we switched to a room that smelled slightly less bad but still awful. The rooms were dirty with broken room elements, a wet carpet, black mold in the bathroom, pubes on the sheets. We skipped the free breakfast in the morning as there is no chance that the kitchen is safe and clean. Parking was confusing and Brian at the desk being friendly was the only thing saving a 1 star here. Do not book! This place needs a full overhaul/renovation or a wrecking ball through the front door. Awful stay!"
