"My husband and I and another couple spent two nights at Penny Hedge. Check in at reception by Scott was friendly and quick. The rooms clean and tidy and nice fluffy towels in the bathroom. We ate there one night and the food was excellent. All the staff were very efficient, friend,y and most helpful. We had a lovely stay."

Nowhere to put your open suitcases, except on the floor, what happened to good old fashioned luggage stands? Food very good, especially breakfast buffet, but… I asked for a little bit of garlic butter for a steak, it initially caused some concern as there was no option for it on the menu, however “the chef has managed to find you some” It was a small quenelle, and a bit in a small pot. I found the next morning they had charged me £4.50 for it! They should offer ‘Cafe de Paris butter’ as standard! But the steak was excellent! We will stop again. "
