Nice hotel close to the beach

Posted 08-Sep-2014
Pros: Like everything about this hotel.
Cons: More variation on dinner menu would be a good addition
Location: A great location for beach, pool, walking, cycling, touring....whatever you want you can do from here!
2nd visit to this hotel and pre-booked the superior room to get the end view across the bay and it is totally worth it!! All rooms have good views but the ones across the bay are superb. A great place to stay with children, plenty to do either in the hotel, on the beach or out and about.

Well situated, close to beach and shops.

Pros: Views and short stroll into Puerto Pollensa.
Cons: Food. Particularly more choice. Serve tea and coffee before 10am. Serve water 24 hrs a day. Don't allow towels on sunbeds at 7am
Location: Beautiful beaches nearby and lots of shops and restaurants are a short stroll away. Lots of boat trips nearby. Bus stops a short walk a way
Clean and modern hotel.Lovely pool. Most rooms have amazing views; most have a sea view and many have a pool view as well. Bar staff were generally miserable, reception staff were lovely and the food needs improving.

Better Than Expected

Posted 12-Jun-2014
Pros: The pool area.
Cons: The night entertainment.
Location: The location isn't great but its only a 10 min. walk into the centre. The pub across the road(The Palms).has good entertainment.
Having read various reports of the Pollensa Park we were a bit worried before we arrived. The food aspect of the hotel didn't get good reviews but we found a good choice and there is always something to suit your taste. The bedrooms are a bit dated but are kept spotlessly clean by the maids. The pool area is great, there are plenty of sun beds to go round. The pool is the best in Puerto Pollensa. The entertainment staff try very hard during morning and afternoon but at night we found the entertainment pretty awful. Overall the hotel is very good value.

Nice room However food was awful

Posted 30-Sep-2013
Dining room was like a cattle market. Too many people, not enough seats/tables and everyone mulling around looking for food. Muesli was dry and tasteless. Fruit juice was flavoured water. Wifi which was chargeable was next to useless. There were no english speaking channels on the tv. Balcony lights were controlled by the hotel and put on and off when they saw fit to do so.

Clean , cheap and value for money.

We didn't spend much time here, it was just a base that was cheaper than an apartment. 1 minute to the beach. Hotel itself was too busy and touristy for us (expected it would be) but it was clean and good value so can't complain.

Be careful of the food!

Posted 22-Jun-2013
Pros: location, near the beach
Cons: food
Location: close to the beach, shops and pharmacy. can see over the port of Pollensa clearly on a nice day
our room was on the 8th floor right next to the lift, it was very noisy because of this up until approximately 2am in the morning. Opposite the hotel are some bars which are outside and also open with tribute acts until the early hours, making it difficult to sleep. The hotel location was brilliant and it was very clean however i would definitely not go again with meals included. 4 of us went and all of us have been ill for over a week with what we think is food poisoning, the food is under the lights too long and is not always very hot so be very careful! This hotel is suited to families with very small children or the elderly, not people inbetween. Most people in this hotel are elderly and quite rude to people of my age which would put me off going again. I have still paid my money the same as everyone else and only went for 4 days to visit my grandparents. Lovely hotel and very near the beach, just be wary of the food and the location of the room!

Nice hotel

Maybe not the most modern of hotels, but clean and pleasant. All inclusive food standard was high, lots of choice. Alcoholic Drinks not so much though. Spa facilities are more than nice! We had one rainy day that we spent there, quite quiet and relaxing. Overall very good!

Pollensa park hotel-very good 3* hotel

Posted 03-Sep-2011 on Hotels.com
After one or two teething problems following our late evening arrival (given a two bedded room for 3 people on the top floor with inadequate air conditioning and a smelly bathroom), we were sorted out with a better 5th floor room the next day. Hotel is very clean, staff pleasant enough, food good but not adventurous so after 4 days a bit boring. We were full board so inconveniently had to pay in cash at the table for all drinks, which hikes up the otherwise very reasonable price. Great location for 5 minute stroll to huge beach and 15 minute walk to main shopping area. Would return again.
