The unit had everything we needed, washer and dryer and kitchen stocked with pots, pans etc. the pool area provides a great view of the ocean. The pool itself is average. "The Blue Hawaii suite was bright and airy. King bed was comfortable. Cam, our host was very nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area since he’s a longtime resident. Location is excellent with green belt walking paths around the resort. Ocean, beaches, pool, and restaurants within easy walking distance. "We’ve stayed at Makahuena Point many times. This unit was great. The kitchen was well stocked and they had all beach supplies we needed — beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear, fins, umbrellas. The space was comfortable and had great views. The construction outside of the unit is far away and was not disruptive at all."

The beach is a 5 to 10 minute walk because this unit is in the back of the complex. When the tide is up there was very little beach.
