We stayed two nights and was assigned to 1st floor room by a terrible lady at front desk who lied to us when I asked if there is a higher floor room available since I preferred higher floor room. she said no. we could not sleep during the Friday night since the street cafe and restaurants were so noisy and laud and all kinds of music and signing. I rushed to front desk to ask for help at 1:30am, luckily this time the gentlemet at front desk helped me and found a 3rd floor room and we moved right there at 1:30am!!! We could still hear the noise but much better than the 1st floor room. The place is generally in city center and very loud noises and no noise control at all during the night, the noise could last until 6am in the morning. My take away is if you want to stay at this hotel, get a room not facing the street. But I will NOT stay there anymore

Great location near Sol metro stop. Filling breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, pastries, fruit, coffee, sliced ham and cheese, rolls, bread, etc. We faced the street and it was rather loud until the wee hours of the morning. Ask for a room in the back if you need quiet. There was only liquid soap so be sure to bring shampoo, soap, and conditioner. Many great tapas places nearby (Cafe Toni and Bar Restaurante Del Abuelo). The lobby and sitting area could use some updating. It’s rather drab and 1970s ish. Other than that, it was a great stay. Thank you to Adrian and all those at the front desk for taking care of us!!

Very clean and spacious room. Nice new feel to it. Bedding and towels clean and fresh. Very good hairdryer. Excellent powerful shower. Excellent location to Sol Metro, bus links, shops and tapas bars. Located on a side street away from the main hustle and bustle. Would definitively stay again.

Great location!
This hotel was in a great location. If you don't like noise get a room in the back. It's located on a busy street with restaurants and bars. The noise didn't bother us and it was fun looking out at the street and all the action. I would definately stay here again!

Very nice staff. Hotel is near restaurants and very near Plaza Del Sol. It is near Subway station, a little busy bec it is in the heart of the city. Hotel was clean and well kept.

Wonderful, quaint hotel in the heart of Madrid. It was situated very close to all the major sights, the room and bed was comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. Sure, there is a lot of noise from the streets outside, but it did not bother me a bit, as I wanted a place situated close to all the action. Thanks!

Deceiving advertise and noisy neighborhood
They offer shuttle service from/to the airport that doesn’t exist. Also, the hotel is in an extremely crowded street and does not have noise isolation so there were night we couldn’t sleep at all.

It is located conveniently in down town Madrid near shops and restaurants. They have a speakeasy room below where they have a great Flamenco show!!! Must see. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back and stay there again.
