“Very comfortable, good quiet gym with nice view and friendly staff.”
Minimalist style new hotel, rooms are very functional and comfortable, breakfast buffet very tasty and wireless internet is useful on business rip.
“Great Hotel!!!!”
This is a new Hotel, therefore everything is very clean. The room is great, modern, big and very nice. Great service, you hace free internet acces and is located in the business area of Madrid.
“Not bad, but very far away from the centre”
The hotel is new, it's very stylish but a bit too cold/generic for my liking and it took 40 minutes on the metro to get to the centre of Madrid.
“Great value for money!”
Quality of 5-star hotel at extremely affordable rates. Despite its inconvenient location (20 mins walk to nearest Metro station followed by a 30-min ride to downtown OR 45 mins on the bus to Sol), it is worth the effort if you're on a budget yet wanting to stay in a nice hotel with air-con (very important in summer in Madrid!). Yes, some things in life could be too good and still be true! This is one of them!
“A businesslike hotel which can also suit the traveller”
This is not a Central Madrid hotel, but is I imagine more designed for business people and I was there as a tourist. However, the staff were very friendly, service was excellent, there's a nice bar, both inside the hotel and outside on a terrace, free internet for those who haven't brought their laptops, ipads etc, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the bath enormous. For those who don't want a large American breakfast, you can get a croissant and coffee at the bar. I do wish European hotels would have conditioner as well as shampoo, as I don't like carrying it, but that's a small gripe.
“minimilistic ,very clean but a haul to get to centre of madrid”
Booked this hotel via top secret hotels through expedia.I am not convinced it fits into the area they map out seems a lot further out than map suggests! To get to Madrid takes a good 10/15 minute walk to get to metro at Arturo Soria and then about 10/12 mins to Puerta del Sol.The(53) bus stop is 2 mins away but can take 30-50 minutes to get to Puerta del Sol depending on traffic.Hotel is based in business district so ideal for business people not really for tourists. It is a very modern hotel and with a 4 star grading so I was surprised to find that there were no tea making facilities just water.Fridge didnt work so water not cold.Having said all this the hotel is spotless and staff were efficient. If you stay here be prepared to go out in the morning and stay out until end of night,it is a haul to return to hotel to change and then get back to Madrid for an evening meal/entertainment.There are a few bars and restaurants locally but mostly quiet due to location. There are a couple of little shops and a small supermarket 5-10 minutes walk away down to end of road and turn right.
“conveniently located for our purpose”
We chose this hotel as it is close to where our son lives in Madrid. Although we were away from the hotel during most of our stay, we would have liked the facility of a kettle to make some hot drinks in our room. Otherwise very good.
“Can't wait to go back”
Loved the hotel. It made the trip very comfortable.
“Contemporary Modernism at its best”
This was a wonderful hotel; clean, friendly, well decorated, etc. The breakfast was superb - I LOVE doughnuts for breakfast. The staff were helpful and were patient with my pitiful Spanish (although everyone spoke perfect English). Excellent coffee available throughout the day, good choice of bar meals. The location was problematic; too far to walk to the city centre and the bus routes were confusing. We caught cabs which were expensive, but it did enable us to take advantage of this beautiful and vibranct city.
“I would definitely go back in longer vacation.”
very interesting trip, well organised flights and very comfortable hotel.
