“Overpriced and underwhelming...”
The ME is in a great location, and that is about all that it has going for it. Hotel is showing it's age, the pool is freezing, pool lounge beds are extremely uncomfortable, drinks are overpriced (about twice what we paid earlier in the week at another resort), and there isn't a decent restaurant on site. Service was unremarkable - had to track down a server at the pool every time you wanted to order, the men working the front door basically ignored you every time you came or went, and no one smiled, period. We have stayed at several other resorts in Cabo and would put this at the bottom of the list.
“see you next time”
overall good and very satisfy with this hotel, and the staff acknowledge returning customers!
“Great place to stay, swimable beach, convenient to Downtown Cabo”
Beautiful hotel. Close to Downtown Cabo on a beautfiul and swimable beach. The only negative is that because ME cabo is a party hotel you hear music playing from 12pm to about 3am. The sound proofing could have been better.
“cant wait to go back next year”
we had a blast, we just happened to be there during the biggest pimp and hoe party ever.. we cant definetly wait to go back..
“Fun getaway”
On the weekends, the Me Cabo is the place to be. Whether sitting poolside or on the dedicated hotel beach beds, the DJ has music playing throughout the afternoon keeping patrons lively. The drinks and food are satisfactory and the staff are always around to cater to your requests. Although the hotel is far from the airport, it is close to downtown which is convenient to accessing the marina, an array of restaurants and bars/clubs. Room upgrades include personal hot tubs or lounge chairs; and the 5th floor suites have fantastic views all around. The house club, Passion, wasn't as active as in previous visits, which is a cause from an increase of venues opening in downtown Cabo. However, it is still a great spot to grab a drink before going out, and for night caps as well.
“Great for young adults with no kids!”
The rooms were avaerage but the pool is beautiful with the cabans and the service at the pool was great! I'll definitley stay there again...until I have kids!
“Will be back ....”
Great location, easy walk to best restaurants in Cabo. One of the few hotels where you can actually swim in the ocean. I recommend Level floor . Concierges at that floor David and Roxane were super helpful and overall great.
“Will go back”
Everything about the hotel was nice, from the pool to the location. You're only 2 blocks from town and Gardenias, which I recommend for lunch. The only 2 negatives I experienced was flying in at 10:30 but not being able to check in until 3, and they charge to use the pool cabanas every Saturday. I didn't bother to find out how much because we used the beach and the pool swim up bar
“Not a place for mature adults”
From the pictures the ME looked amazing; loved the fact its right near The Office and all the swimable beaches. What I didn't love was the fact that it played house music EVERY DAY at the pool, bottled water was $4 for a tiny bottle, you couldn't sit by the main pool unless you bought a $100 bottle of booze and the fact they have 12 spanish TV stations only...for a modern hotel I was pretty unimpressed. HUGE cockroach in our room (came from the LOUD A/C unit that kept us up) and they had to come replace two light bulbs - glad we were able to help them maintain their rooms. Last but not least they apparently oversold for the weekend and we were "upgraded" to an ocean view room...yeah with TWO double beds and not the king size bed we originally requested. I got over the rave/mundane annoying beat music 15 years ago - if you're in your 20s or early 30s this place is all yours but if you're in your late 30s and over and want true R&R this is NOT the place to stay.
“not that great”
nice location and a great hotel atmosphere. if we stayed in one of their reasonable rooms, it might have been great but we decided to stay in one of their good ones on "the level" and i guess we expected too much. it wasn't worth paying that much for it.
