Kitchen was great. However furniture was old and very uncomfortable and carpet was very old and dingy. Building was in good condition. Size was good. With better beds and new carpet or no carpet our stay would have been good.

Fair location and big unit with lots of room.
Wasn’t happy with the location bed or apartment. Was charged 160 for a fee(“dishes and amenities in the unit”)that should have been part of the rate.

All around terrible. Had to take a taxi to my room after check in. Shower had mold. Employee’s fob key stopped working and after many many calls and 8 hours later they got him into his room at 1:30am.

HORRIBLE: After arriving, left & got a new hotel
I booked this room because it appeared close to 2 blocks from the conference I was attending. The morning of check in, I got an email that their office had moved, and I would need to travel to a location almost a mile and a half away to get my key. Since I had no car, this required an expensive Uber through LA traffic. They didn't seem to understand the issue. I waited to my key while nothing worked since they just set up - the printer wasn't connecting, the computer was slow. I finally got my key and Uber'd, again, back to the original location. This all took about an hour. When I arrived, I opened my room door and walked into a room that looked like someone had just left. The bed sheets and comfortable were rumpled on the bed in a way that was clear someone had just flung them off themselves. Toilet paper was hanging off the bathroom, nothing clean. I called and they told me to go BACK to the office to sort it out, and after telling them there was no way I was paying for another Uber to fix this, I told them I wanted an immediate refund and I left the hotel.

DO NOT RENT FROM GINOSI APARTELS
Where do I start, the rooms are filthy. The carpets had not been cleaned in years in addition to this there were pubic hairs throughout the bathroom. Aside from this, the mattresses on the beds are so hard I should have just slept on the floor. They advertise their rooms for $89 but the total for 2 nights with all the fees was $460. Aside from not getting a good deal, the unit is not livable. I asked for a full refund because I could not sleep all night and could not complete my stay. They have not refunded me yet!

Not what I expected
The day of arrival I was notified I had to now pick up keys offsite, which was very frustrating and hard to find, and with out a vehicle I had to convince my Uber to stay while i checked in and grabbed keys, then take me to the actual building. No warning of the metro link being on the same street which was noisy at night, carpets were old and dirty, bed felt like bricks and pillows were old and smelly. Pics definitely made this look modern and nice, but once you were there it felt like it was a party house previously. Air Vents were caked with dust and it had a faint smell of cigarettes.

Good location, staff was great, but room was not clean, carpet very filthy, some of the dishes in the kitchen were dirty with dried food. The bathroom was not well cleaned, the toilet seat and floor in front of the toilet had dribble spots. The furniture in the living room very uncomfortable, couldn't even sit on it to watch tv. No tv in bedroom.

So close yet so far...
I figured that I would try getting out of my rut and try something new... I'll stick to major brands for a while longer. This place could have been great. So close to the mark. It looked great on the internet. Unfortunately it was kind of dirty, smelled funny, had broken fixtures, some level of "janky" furniture and my tub was clogged. Additionally, it seems that the staff while cordial and for the most part professional and accommodating also had some internal communication issues. I will stay elsewhere next time I visit the area, if there are other options and there typically are.

Perfect Location - Watch for additional fees
Teens were attending event at the LA Convention Center. Downtown LA Live Suites is right across the street making it easy for them to come and go. Two bedrooms was a real plus for us. The carpet was a bit stained but other than that the cleanliness was fine. Décor was great. Staff at check in very friendly and helpful. Be prepared to be charged a $187 cleaning and resort fee that I missed in the fine print and parking is $30 per day. Parking is in a garage and very secure. Great outdoor pool area with several grills available.

It is actually an apartment building that has rentals. Beautiful facilities including pool and gym. Very well maintained and secure. Great kitchen and laundry facilities in room.

Great place to stay!
Very clean and comfortable! I really enjoyed my stay. Very close to the Staples Center. As a woman travelling alone I felt very safe and secure thanks to the building's fob system. Looking forward to a longer stay next time!

Location was perfect
I was working at the convention center and it's right across the street. You miss some of the amenities of a real hotel but if your ok with self serve then this place might be for you. My biggest gripe, the bed wasn't comfortable and there isn't a ton very close to hotel yet....still a tad sketchy on the Fowler side of building.

A diamond in the rough
It was very interesting being from Bend Oregon to travel to Los Angeles area was a little sketchy I was there for business though. I booked it based on the four star rating and the price the place itself is comfortable and beautiful inside the staff is friendly and helpful however people above us stomping and partying etc. until the staff put an end to it

Probably would not stay here again.
It was not what I expected, I really didn't know it was going to be an apartment that they rent out as a "hotel" room. The furnishings were not up to the cost of the room, the couch was not even usable because of the condition. The TV was very small due to it being a "rental unit" and the WIFI had very sporadic service. I called about some burn out bulbs in the kitchen the day I arrived and they were never replaced during my stay. I also was not aware that they did not have cleaning services, that would have been nice to know before using the two towels I had in my room. Overall I was not very happy with paying $500 per night for a place that would only rent for $85 per night based on a monthly rate.

When first checking in everything was pretty nice and spacious, although there was much lacking that space can't really make up for. I was happy to have a full kitchen, though I wasn't able to use the toaster at all even after cleaning it since it wouldn't stop smoking. Ants were all about the apartment... even in my bed. Even though the furniture was decent the apartment itself looks as if someone just moved out and they didn't even bother doing a paint job after. The first night we had to have someone fix the leaking toilet that flooded the bathroom floor and the heat wouldn't work at all. With all that space and all the widows it got cold fast. There's also speakers in the living room, but only one of them works.

I was unpleasantly surprised to see an extra $160 charged for a "Apartment Service Fee". Room was clean enough, but poorly furnished with non working TV. The cabie warned me to be careful in what was a dangerous location. One good point was it's proximity to the convention center & Staples Center.

Beware of the fees! They'll double your price.
Room wasn't in the best condition. In the corner of one of the rooms the paint had obviously gotten wet repeatedly and the paint was pealing. Also there was NO signs to help you locate the place as you drove by. Great location next to the convention center though. The main gripe with this place though was the ridiculous $160 "Apartment Services" fee. I didn't notice this when booking the place and when I called back after getting the receipt I was told it was for cleaning and electricity. Really? VERY obvious that the ploy is to offer a lower per night rate and then nail you on this fee and $30 per day for parking. We stayed two nights and the fee/parking was the same amount as the nightly rate. Lame.

The apartment was very clean and nicer than a hotel, however the apartment service fee of $160 was NOT DISCLOSED prior to purchasing the hotel reservation. This is my biggest complaint, the fee should be disclosed or added to the total nightly booking cost prior to reservation.

Was good for a one night stay. The $160 cleaning fee should be utilized better. The walls were dirty in the bedrooms and the bedrooms could use a paint job. $160 could buy a lot of paint. Other rooms were clean and nicely decorated.

Staff incompetent and card charged in Armenia
I had an unfortunate experience with this hotel. After booking and confirmed, when I arrived after a long drive from San Francisco, the reception initially could not find my booking. Then when she did, she said my card had a problem. Then I provided another card, and had to talk to the "finance department but the second card also did not work, and a third card also had a similar result. So when I asked where the "office" was - turned out to be in Armenia - So I called my bank thinking the international charge may heave triggered a security lock/alert. But turns out the bank did not receive even a payment request. Tried all three cards and the issue was the same. So it turns out the person charging did not have a clue what they were doing. So had to go inline again and find another hotel. My cards worked fine at the other hotel and buying gas - so not sure what their problem was. Was very inconvenient and they were not at all helpful.
