"Great communication, property beautifully decorated. Alrhough no parking there is a 24hr carpaek 5minutes walk away and reasonably priced. Easy to unload bags as road next to it has 1hr free parking. 5min walk and you are in centre of the town which is stunning"

"We had a lovely time at Heronview. The accommodation was brilliant just right for the two of us. Our hosts were great and it was good to meet the dogs and bantems. Its such a peaceful spot by the river. The area is lovely ideal for walks and Alcester is very picturesque. Its a great spot for visiting the surrounding area like Stratford-upon-Avon and Evesham. We look forward to visiting again."

"My husband and I stayed here for two nights, it was the perfect little base for visiting the nearby villages. The annex is small but this is highlighted by the owner on the ad, however, dont be fooled by the size. It is big enough for two, clean and fully functional. Li the host waa great, welcoming and knowledgable avout the local area. Even provoded us woth a table when we asked. Would definately.recommend."

"I didn’t exactly know what I was letting myself in for when I booked into The Shepherd’s Lodge but it was actually a pleasant experience and it provided exactly what I was looking for i.e. a comfortable place to lay my head at night and have a cup of tea and few quiet hours after a long day at a Folk Music Festival. The only problems I encountered were due to the weather and therefore beyond anyone’s control. "

"Truly appalling standard of quality and cleanliness that is inexcusable. Entrance information was not sent and had to chase up on the day. This was put down to a sick staff member which I accepted at the time but in retrospect was a sign of the poor standard of this operation who appear to have multiple properties. Black condensation surface mold in numerous areas throughout the property. Thick layers of skirting boards door frames and furniture. Broken wardrobe draws. Broken Ironing board....

"Excellent location and downside is no on site car park. A bit noisy during weekend at night but still acceptable. We had a wonderful stay there overall."
