“Great Place for Convenience of Location”

I was amazed that a room was available to us as soon as we arrived (around 11:30am). I fully expected to just check in and find someplace for lunch until my room was ready. We were able to go right to the room and get organized before we went for lunch. We were there for a 45 yr class reunion and that too was spectacular. The food was exceptionally good and the service during the coctail hour and dinner was wonderful. I cannot think of anything that was wrong. I would definitly recommend the Holiday Inn Plainview to anyone who asks.

“Holiday Inn a Great Value”

My boyfriend and I went to a wedding at Woodbury Country Club and we rented a room at this Holiday Inn for the night. The rate was the cheapest I could find and the hotel was the best value for the price. We were less than a 10 minute cab ride from the venue, it was very easy to get to the hotel from Queens where we both live. Our other friends booked rooms and nearby hotels and our room was by far the nicest. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were newly renovated. If I have another event at Woodbury Country Club I will definitely be staying here again.

“Acceptable”

For Plainview or further east on Long Island, this was overpriced. We paid less the next two nights in New Jersey for a nicer room. The (confirmed thru Expedia) rooms were slightly different. That was not a problem - however, we had requested a refrigerator. That was not available. To the credit of the desk staff, they put a few things in their refrigerator by the main desk.

“Newly remodeled”

This hotel was remodeled in the past year and the rooms are beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was extremely clean. They were doing construction on the front of the building so the visual impact from the outside left a little to be desired, but I was not bothered by noise at all. I would definitely stay here again.

The remodel on this hotel makes it on par with other. more expensive hotels. The hotel itself is tastefully redone and includes a restaurant (didn't eat there so I have no feedback), pool and small workout room. I noticed they have a bridal suite of three elevated rooms (above 2nd floor but not quite a third floor.) Plenty of free parking. In addition to being recently redone, the rooms are spacious and well appointed. High speed wireless is included for free. Ironing board and iron were in the closet (didn't have to call for one. The only thing the room didn't have was a mini fridge, but there was a dedicated space for one, so they may still be in process of updating the rooms. Overall, I was very pleased with the value of this hotel. It's very conveniently located - right off the LIE at Sunnyside Blvd., maybe an 1/8th of a mile or less to the Northern State Pkwy. and five minutes to Jericho Tpke. If you need to be in the Syosset / Woodbury area, I definitely recommend this hotel as a good choice for the reasons above.

Very nice and friendly staff at this hotel. The room was totally upgraded and was very nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and check in was easy. Clean bathroom made this hotel a good choice

“Amazing Hotel, best one in Plainview. Great Price!”

First of all, let me say that I've stayed in EVERY hotel in Plainview for business. The Hilton Garden Inn, the Sheraton Four Points, every single one. Never stayed at the Holiday Inn, I didn't think it would be that nice. WOW I was wrong. Puts the other hotels to shame, better quality for your money! The rooms are GORGEOUS and look like suites. They were all redone in 2010? and are amazing, even the bathrooms are absolutely beautiful. They look like upscale Manhattan hotel rooms. The bath products are from Bath & Body Works. Photos on expedia are horrible, they do not do the place justice. Bed is very comfortable. The hotel is large with a pool outside, lounge chairs and tables if you want to sit outside and take in some sun or munch on food. They have a basic fitness area with TV, water fountain and towels. They also have a business center. The restaurant Monroes is fantastic. Food is great, is very large place with a giant bar. They have happy hour and half price appetizers too! Although watch the blond daytime bartender, she is horribly snotty, had a bad attitude and did not charge me half price for anything. Good thing the Nighttime bartender was taking over, because she was a doll, real friendly and personable. Breakfast is wonderful and very affordable. Unlimited brunch which included things like Belgian waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, and many other things, juice and coffee was $10 bucks! They also had cheaper breakfast options for those who eat a bit lighter.
