I had missed my connection in Rome and managed to book a flight last minute to JFK. I needed a room for the night and booked the Marriott JFK airport. When I arrived I was exhausted. Shem was on the desk and saw the reservation had the wrong date. He could also see my tiredness. He immediately made the correction and honored the price. He was kind and caring and exactly the level of humanity I needed. Within minutes I was in my room. He also made sure I was knowledgeable about the shuttle for my morning flight. The room was lovely and the bed extremely comfortable. In the morning Shem was still at the desk. He greeted me warmly, directed me to the complementary coffee, and introduced me to the woman scheduling the shuttle. Everyone was professional and so caring. I made my flight and arrived 48 hours after leaving Italy. Your people made the difference to a 75 year old solo traveler. Thank you so much.

The room is a bit tight between the bed and desk. They use a wood platform for the mattress that extend beyond the mattress. It is a chin buster if you are not careful. Although is relatively close to the airport, it takes about 10-15 mins to get to and from.

My wife was yelled at by the Van Driver this morning when she got on the van to go to the airport. Was told later "This is only for stewardesses" when they arrived at airport an and she needed to get to Terminal 4. Driver did take her there, but should have informed riders that this was a "crew-only" van upon departure from the hotel. Additional training is required.

It would be nicer if someone waits in the front of the hotel to help visitors for valet parking. When I first get to the hotel, it was difficult to find somebody for help.

Very well mantained hotel. The room was excellent and clean. Very close to JFK. The shuttle between the hotel and the airport works perfectly. Lastly, the staff are very friendly and helpful. My only note is that the breakfast buffet was very limited.

Very nice modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff, from the front desk to the restaurant. Our room was immaculate.Free shuttle service to/free JFK airport was well organised and a short ride. Breakfast was likely the best hotel food I’ve ever eaten, and bar food delicious.
